Pittsburgh Bar Steps Up Stanley Cup Game, Bans All Boston Beer for East Finals
Frequent denizens of a Pittsburgh bar now have two days to sate their thirst for Boston beers, because the bar is banning them from its menu for the duration of the NHL's Eastern Conference Finals between the Penguins and the Bruins.
Yahoo! Sports' Greg Wyshynski reports that Howlers Coyote Cafe in Pittsburgh has given its patrons ample time to order Samuel Adams and other beers, which are soon to be outlawed at the establishment.
Here is the stern warning sitting outside the bar.

Beautiful.
There is something rather refreshing about a healthy dose of animosity during a pivotal playoff series, especially so close to the Stanley Cup Final.
That image comes from Howlers' Facebook page with the caption, "This is a public service announcement from the staff at Howlers."
Wyshynski reminds us that this is hardly the first time a business has tried to cut off all ties to the Boston area during an all-important series:
"Please recall how Canadian restaurant chain Boston Pizza became both Vancouver Pizza and Montreal Pizza during series against the Canucks and Canadiens. In fact, during the 2010 Stanley Cup Final, a town called Boston Bar in British Columbia changed its name to Vancouver Bar during the series; and Tim Hortons would sell only “Vancouver Crème” doughnuts in the province.
"
Please be advised that there is just as much vitriol and trolling coming the other way, because Bruins fan Michael J. Fox has been eating every last team-themed cupcake this postseason.
You can bet he has something very special cooked up if the Bruins prevail in the Eastern Conference Finals.
As for lovers of Sam Adams, which includes my beer-swilling self, you have been warned. Get your fill of all things Boston right now. Hell, I'm not even in the area, but I will gladly drink the difference in your honor.
