Liverpool FC: Remembering the 2011-12 EPL Season (Game 5/38)

Liverpool traveled to White Hart Lane to rebound from their loss against Sunderland the previous week.

The game ended in disaster, as a total of nine cards were shown throughout the match, including two red cards after the second yellow-card-worthy challenges.

Tottenham's Luka Modric opened the scoring for the home side within ten minutes. Liverpool then found themselves down a man as Charlie Adam was sent off for his second yellow. In the second half, Martin Skrtel received his second yellow and was given his marching orders. 

The match ended 4-0 with the Merseysiders sent home to lick their wounds for next week.
