NFL Pro Bowl Roster 2012: Aaron Rodgers and Superstars Who Won't Play
The Pro Bowl is supposed to showcase the best players from the NFL. However, with the Super Bowl being the week after the Pro Bowl, whomever is playing in the game is not going to play in the Pro Bowl. It’s why Aaron Rodgers, and these players, will most likely not be playing in this year’s Pro Bowl game.
Aaron Rodgers
If the Green Bay Packers live up to their hype, they will be playing in Super Bowl XLVI. That means possibly the league's most valuable player will not be playing in the all-star game.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Rodgers was the top vote-getter from the fans with 1,581,982 votes. However, all of those fans that clicked online to watch Rodgers in the Pro Bowl, will have to wait until the following year if the Packers make the Super Bowl again.
Instead of seeing Rodgers, you will probably get to see Carolina Panthers rookie superstar Cam Newton.
Brady is just like Rodgers, with the Patriots quarterback possibly missing out on the game because of playing in the Super Bowl.
Brady was the top vote-getter on the AFC side of the ballot. His 1,454,311 votes placed him second overall behind Rodgers. However, all of those fans will miss out on seeing these two quarterbacks go head-to-head with the other best players from the 2011 season.
Instead of seeing Brady quarterbacking the AFC team, we will get to see everyone’s favorite Denver Bronco, Tim Tebow.
The talented wide receiver will miss out on this year’s Pro Bowl game while he plays with Brady and Rodgers in the Super Bowl.
Welker finished second in voting in the AFC, and among wide receivers in the NFL. Welker leads the NFL in receiving yards with 1,518 and in receptions with 116. He is second in the AFC in touchdown receptions with nine to his teammate Rob Gronkowski who has 15.
Instead of seeing Welker trying to shred the NFC secondary while catching passes from his Patriots quarterback, we will have to settle for watching Miami Dolphins’ Brandon Marshall.
The Pro Bowl was always looked like an extra game that a lot of players did not want to play in and fans could avoid watching. Missing these superstar players from the game will not help in making the game must-see TV.
