Why New Orleans Should Dominate Monday Night Football
The New Orleans Saints host the Atlanta Falcons tonight on Monday Night Football and with the way they've been playing, Drew Brees' team should come away with a solid victory.
New Orleans has won six games in a row. They currently sit at 11-3 and can clinch the NFC South with a win tonight.
Brees and company have been rolling offensively all season. The Saints lead the NFL in total yards (456.7 yards per game) and passing yards (331.4 yards per game) and are 10th in rushing offense (125.4 yards per game).

Meanwhile, Brees is having a phenomenal season. The 32 year-old quarterback currently leads the NFL in completions (417) and completion percentage (71.5), while he enters Week 16 in second in passing yards (4,780) and quarterback rating (109.1). Those are all ridiculous totals.
The Falcons are currently 9-5 and have the league's ninth-ranked defense (allowing 327.2 yards per game). Atlanta boasts the NFL's fourth-best passing defense (allowing just 96.6 yards per game) but are 17th in pass defense (allowing 230.6 yards per game).
The Falcons shouldn't be able to slow down Brees and his phenomenal passing offense, especially with the Saints playing at home.
Atlanta has already secured a playoff spot and while the team has an outside shot at the NFC South championship, the Falcons have to go through the Saints to do that. New Orleans is dominating recently and shouldn't have trouble wrapping up the NFC South tonight.
