2011 Fantasy Football: NFL Week 16 Sleepers
Sometimes you need a fantasy gem to be successful. Here is a list of LestersLegends’ under-the-radar players who could possibly pull out a win for you in Week 16.
Rex Grossman vs. Minnesota
Could Rex help fantasy owners bring home a chip? He struggled a bit last week but takes on the Minnesota Vikings this week. They could probably find two players in the stands that wouldn’t stand out if you rotated them in into their secondary. Matt Moore @ New England is another attractive option as the Patriots rank dead last in pass defense (296.7 YPG).

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Kahlil Bell @ Green Bay: If the Bears get down early, Bell could see plenty of touches. He’s better suited for the passing game than Marion Barber. Lance Ball @ Buffalo is a sneaky play too because the Broncos will run a ton on Buffalo. I’m expecting 200-plus rushing yards, and Ball could finish with 60 of them.
Malcom Floyd @ Detroit: Darrius Heyward-Bey ripped the Lions’ secondary last week, and Floyd could use his speed to do the same. Philip Rivers is playing like his old self finally, and Floyd has averaged 77.7 yards in his past three games. Mario Manningham @ New York Jets could take advantage of the attention that Hakeem Nicks and Victor Cruz draw on the outside.
Jared Cook vs. Jacksonville: It’s always a risk rolling with a guy just because he had a big game the previous week. It’s hard to ignore those nine catches for 103 yards. Considering he only caught three passes for 38 yards in his previous three games, all of which came in one game, it’s an even scarier proposition. Cook has big-play potential. He only has five games with 5-plus fantasy points in non-PPR leagues, but the speed and size combination makes him a high risk/reward tight end option.
Washington Redskins Defense/Special Teams vs. Minnesota: I wouldn’t say the Vikings have mailed it in, but there have been some rumblings about some players’ efforts and some coaching schemes. This is a bad team. Christian Ponder has regressed, and using him at fullback with Joe Webb at QB was ridiculous. Bill Musgrave hasn’t seemed to figure out how to focus both Adrian Peterson and Percy Harvin in the same game plan. If the Redskins could slow down the Giants offense, they should be able to have their way with the Vikings.
