The New York Giants were everyone's favorite to win the NFC East after their impressive comeback victory over the Dallas Cowboys two weeks ago, and now they're on the brink of elimination this week.
The Washington Redskins were able to go on the road to the Meadowlands and hand the G-Men a devastating loss that proved this team is not playoff ready and won't be in the postseason in 2011.
Despite impressive performances against the Green Bay Packers and Cowboys, Eli Manning has struggled with turnovers for the past month-and-a-half and the Giant defense is nowhere close to healthy.

Manning has had at least one interception in every game since November 6th against the New England Patriots and his completion percentage has only been over 60 percent twice over this same stretch.
While Jason Pierre-Paul has done everything possible to keep the Giant defense from falling apart, injuries to Justin Tuck and Osi Umenyiora has made it a struggle for New York to keep points off the board recently.
Watching the Redskins game, it just never felt like the Giants had the ability to stop the Rex Grossman-led offense during the contest; the 'Skins for the most part were able to score at will.
With an "away game" against the New York Jets coming up this Sunday and opposing head coach Rex Ryan most likely chewing his team out for their embarrassing loss last weekend, the Giants haven't exactly drawn their cross-town rival at the right time.
The Giants have lost five of their past six games and just don't look to be playoff ready right now. Expect the Jets to shut the door on Big Blue this Saturday.
