NFL Pro Bowl Voting 2011: Tim Tebow Should Back Up Tom Brady in Pro Bowl
There is no way to justify making Tim Tebow a starter over Tom Brady in the Pro Bowl, but to suggest that he's not worthy of being the AFC backup is absurd.
Tebow's critics will say that he can't throw the ball, that he's running a gimmick offense and that his unconventional winning ways don't warrant giving him a spot in the Pro Bowl.
He hasn't played a full season, but he's got six wins in a row. Regardless of what happens from here on out, he's earned his keep in the Pro Bowl.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Of the quarterbacks in the AFC, only Brady, Matt Schaub, Philip Rivers, Ben Roethlisberger and Matt Moore best Tebow's QB rating of 83.9.
Notice anything about the quarterbacks on this list? They're all throwing to a top-notch receiver. Imagine if Tebow had Wes Welker, Mike Wallace, Andre Johnson, Vincent Jackson or Brandon Marshall to get the ball to.
When Tebow took the helm, the Broncos were in the Andrew Luck sweepstakes. Now, they're leading the AFC West.
Is Roethlisberger's ability to command a Hall of Fame-laden team to a wild-card spot more impressive than Tebow's ability to single-handedly change the culture of the Broncos? I think not.
When you factor in Tebow's 517 yards on the ground without playing a full season, it's really impossible to discount No. 15.
Forget the hype and the Tebow craze. Forget what Merril Hoge and the critics have to say and whether or not John Elway is sold on Tebow as the QB of the future.
Right now, this season, Tebow has gone out and played quarterback better than anyone aside from Brady. It's not always pretty, it's something we've never seen, but that doesn't make it wrong, and it shouldn't hold voters back from casting a vote for Tebow.
