Andre Ward Defeats Carl Froch to Win the Super Six Finals by Unanimous Decision
Andre Ward defeated Carl Froch, securing both the WBC and WBA super middleweight (168 lbs) world championship titles as well as the Ring super middleweight title and the Super Six Trophy.
The story of the fight was Ward's jab and excellent inside game that rivaled and eventually surpassed Froch's over the course of the match.
The 27-year-old Ward improves to 25 wins, no losses with his unanimous-decision victory. Froch falls to 28 wins and two losses now.

Brunson Asked About Roman Reigns
At age 34, Froch still has some good fights left in him, but this loss sets him back a bit. The fight wasn't nearly as competitive as many had predicted. This fight shows Ward if nothing else.
Ward asserted his authority from Round 1, digging jabs and body shots hard into Froch's ribs. Froch's nose even looked a bloody mess by the middle rounds, but he could not get the knockout he wanted.
My Two Cents
Though the judges scored the fight a little closer than they should have with scores of 115-113, 115-113, 118-110 (the correct score), Ward definitely killed Froch. There's no controversy or need of a rematch.
Ward should definitely target the undefeated IBF super middleweight champion Lucian Bute (30-0, 24 KO) or his undefeated mandatory, knockout artist Anthony Dirrell (24-0, 21 KO).
Either match will be challenging and action-packed. Meanwhile, Froch can take Mikkel Kessler (44-2, 33 KO) up on his £5 million offer for a fight. Kessler and Froch fought in the tournament's best fight.
Kessler-Froch II would be not only a great chance for revenge for Froch, but a great chance to make some big money.
