Ju Young Park to Arsenal: I'm Ready to Take My Chance
As the busy EPL Christmas schedule begins with the attendant promise of many thrills and delights for fans around the world, it rolls out with unforgiving nightmares in its hull for football managers.
This is the time of the year when injury and fatigue take over the teams with a menace as single-minded and unforgiving as the bland and austere winter.
This may be the most wonderful time of the year, for die-hard fans, however, nightmares aren't the problem of the managers' alone.

They wake up screaming most nights at the horror of an injury to their darling striker, name them: Demba Ba, Rooney, Yakubu, Aguero, Van Persie...did you hear the scream? That was a Gooner! But who can blame him?
Not to worry though, Ju Young Park, Arsenal's summer signing who is yet to break into the first XI has declared he's now ready to step up.
The prolific South Korea striker, whom Arsenal lured away from Lille, declares in this interview:
"
"All my teammates are great players. I do not expect a chance for me because a player is unavailable.I will do my best to prepare myself to take any random chances at any time.
"
I am new to this club and to the Premier League. I am trying hard to learn more and more. I don’t worry about getting used to everything or anything. My teammates are nice to me and I do not have any problems at all regarding training."
Park scored a delicious goal for Arsenal in the Carling Cup match against Bolton Wanderers in a match in which the 26-year-old showed flashes of what he could become.
If what he says above is anything to go by, Arsenal may not have to wait too much longer to see what he can do.
He could soon be a frequent sight in the Arsenal forward line, especially since Arsenal are set to lose both Gervinho and Marouane Chamakh for the better half of January and February when the two will be away for international duties for their respective countries in the Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
His comments seems to indicate motivation and desire. For Gooners, let's hope he contributes hugely in the coming difficult weeks. He could be an effectively backup to Robin van Persie. Or what do you think?
