Jim Brown Is Right, Michael Vick Can Actually Learn from Tim Tebow
Hall of Fame running back Jim Brown raised some eyebrows yesterday when comments he made about Tim Tebow and Michael Vick were published.
I won't rewrite his entire statement here, but basically Brown said Vick could learn a thing or two from Tebow by embracing the fact that he needs to use his legs to win games and realize what his strengths and weaknesses are.
I agree that Vick could learn some things from watching Tebow, especially since he is such a far superior athlete when compared to Denver's quarterback. The fact the Broncos have had success with Tebow proves that a guy like Vick could be even more successful long-term in the NFL.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
While Vick's legs need to be more a part of his game than they have been over the past few weeks, he also needs to do follow Tebow's example in one other key area: limiting turnovers.
The thing that has been overlooked about the second-year quarterback over these past few weeks is how he hasn't turned the ball over in key situations. Tebow has played within himself and to his strengths.
On the other hand, too often Vick tries to do too much and forces things, which can lead to big plays, but also terrible results.
When things aren't there, Tebow has tucked the ball and run, or just thrown the ball out of bounds. Vick hasn't learned how to do that yet.
In 11 games this season, Tebow has thrown for 11 touchdowns and just two interceptions, while running for three more scores. He has fumbled four times, but has curbed his habit of putting the ball on the ground in recent weeks.
Meanwhile, in 10 games this year, Vick has 12 touchdown passes and 12 interceptions with two fumbles. That's 14 total turnovers.
Tebow has taken care of the ball and figured out ways to win games late. On top of that, his passer rating of 83.9 is higher than Vick's (78.9). Considering Tebow's limited skills throwing the football and the howitzer Vick has for an arm, that's absolutely ridiculous.
So Jim Brown is right, Vick could certainly learn something from Tebow by not taking so many chances and tucking the ball and running when there is nothing down the field.
