Chiefs vs. Jets: 5 Key Stats from the First Half
Today, the New York Jets host the Kansas City Chiefs at MetLife Stadium. The Jets are looking to notch their third straight win and continue to boost their playoff hopes.
We've had a great half thus far and should be in for a thrilling finish, but first let's take a look at five important stats from the first half.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Mark Sanchez has had a great game today, boasting one touchdown through the air and one on the ground. Expect Sanchez to have a monster second half, as KC's defense doesn't look like it will show up today.
20:34: Time of possession for the Jets.
New York has owned the time of possession battle in the first half, giving the Chiefs defense little time to rest. The Jets have done a solid job of rushing QB Tyler Palko into bad decisions and keeping KC in third-and-long situations.
Expect NY to eat up more of the clock in the second half, as the Chiefs offense doesn't seem to have any spark.
1: First Down for the Chiefs.
New York's defense has swarmed the troubled Chiefs offense in the first half. They have been able to get solid pressure onto the inexperienced Palko and stuff any KC attempt at establishing the ground game.
Look for more of this dominance to continue in the second half.
6: Seconds into the game when the Jets used their first timeout.
Following the opening kickoff, the Jets came into the huddle with only 10 players on the field, causing them to burn a timeout with only six seconds off the clock.
This is a pretty terrible way to start a game. Although this mismanagement didn't end up costing NY, they cannot afford any other stupid mistakes in the second half.
162: Total touchdowns scored for Tomlinson
Late in the second quarter, LT scored touchdown No. 162 of his career, moving him into third all-time in NFL history. The future Hall of Famer now has Emmitt Smith in his sights.
