Week 13 Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: Carson Palmer and the Biggest Non-Sleepers
You are probably wondering what the term "non-sleeper" is in regards to NFL fantasy football, but I urge you not to think that deeply into it. One, you will just end up hurting your head, and two, it's really not that complicated. A non-sleeper is simply a guy that is out there in the open ready to perform, but nobody is willing to take the shot on them.
Traditionally, a sleeper in fantasy football is a player that nobody else is thinking about, and then they bust out of nowhere and have a great fantasy game. Owners that can pick sleepers are generally considered to be genius.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Let's start a non-sleeper movement.
It's so cliche' to be a fantasy football owner that can find sleepers. In fact, it's becoming somewhat overrated. Forget scouring the waiver wires and trying to outsmart and outwit your league, just go with the non-sleeper.
These three players are simply out there and ready to perform.
Nobody is going to consider them to be a "sexy-pick" or a sleeper, but I would urge you to consider them in Week 13.
Carson Palmer, QB Oakland Raiders
Carson Palmer is the ultimate non-sleeper this week. Given the two touchdowns and two interceptions he's thrown in the past two games, many are going to shy away from him.
Consider the fact that he's going up against an undefeated Green Bay Packers team on the road, and that alone will lead many to feel he is a dangerous start, let alone a sleeper.
Green Bay is very opportunistic with turnovers, so there is always that threat with Palmer, but they also give up a ton of yards and points. They are giving up 21.8 points and are allowing 292.8 passing yards per game on defense.
Sure, they'll make the big play on defense, but they will also give up a few. This makes Palmer a good option, as he's bound to put up some big numbers.
The good will outweigh the bad this week for Palmer as a fantasy option.
Would anybody consider Bush to be a sleeper anymore? Is he even on anybody's fantasy football radars?
Well, if he's not on yours, you need to stop over-thinking things and take a chance on Bush this week.
He looked stellar last week against the Oakland Raiders, posting up 100 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries. This week, he's got a matchup with the Eagles "dream team" that gives up an average of 115.6 yards per game on the ground and can't tackle if their lives depended on it.
Instead of going with some second-string running back you think will blow up, how about going with Bush?
Sure, he's looked horrible in the past few weeks and his team is falling apart, but let's not over-think Stafford this week as a fantasy option. He's not a sleeper and he's not a fantasy bust, he's just a good 'ole gun-slinging quarterback that will get you a lot of points, but will also make some mistakes.
He's thrown 10 interceptions in the past four games, but he's also put up 1,348 yards and eight touchdowns. Thankfully, his matchup with the Vikings this week is favorable at home. They give up 252.2 passing yards and 27.5 points per game.
Stafford should have a good week and put up some good numbers.
