Winners and Losers of UFC 92

UFC 92 didn't disappoint. There were knockouts, upsets and title changes. Here are the winners and losers from tonight's show.

Winners:

Quinton "Rampage" Jackson

Rampage not only avenged the most brutal beating in MMA history, but he did it in commanding fashion. Leading up to the fight, Rampage said that he hasn't seen the same Silva that he fought in Pride. Rampage proved all the haters wrong with a vicious KO of man formerly known as The Axe Murderer.

Just a few short years ago, Frank Mir was boozing it up and popping pills. But tonight, he's sitting on top of the world. Mir dominated Nogeuria and reclaim the heavyweight title.

Lesnar has been salivating at the chance to revenge his only UFC lost and he will get the chance to do just that as he will face the newly crowned interim heavyweight champ, Frank Mir. Lesnar got caught in a leg lock by Mir in his UFC debut and looks forward to stepping in the cage with Mir for the heavyweight unification bout.

Chuck Liddell

Getting destroyed by always overlooked Rashaad Evans doesn't look as bad, now that Evans has been crowned champ. Look for him to bounce back, anyone up for Liddell vs. Silva two?

Losers:

Wanderlei Silva

Where does Silva go from here? He lost the dream match-up with Chuck Liddell and he was knocked into next week by Jackson, who does he fight next? Silva won't go far because he always puts on an entertaining fight, but now that he's out of title contention who will risk fighting him?

Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira

Nogueria looked completely lost in route to defeat. Everyone knew that Mir had the stand-up advantage but nobody really thought that every lasting Nogueira would be punished, and finished in such decisive fashion. Nobody other than those named Mir.

Forest Griffin

Griffin looked good early. Leg kicks where flowing, combos were flying and feet were moving. That was until Rashaad Evans finally got inside his long reach and ended the fight. Now, nobody will claim Griffin is a fluke champ (cough Matt Serra cough) but without successfully defending the belt once, he is only a transitional champ.

A fight with Chuck Liddell also fits well here. Either way Griffin will surely bounce back better than ever.
