Week 14 Waiver Wire Pickups: Brandon Saine and Players Needed for Playoff Run
If you still need to make additions from the waiver then I must offer my congratulations, it means you're in the postseason.
If you are one of those fortunate few, you'll find there are a few players worth adding this week—some for matchup reasons, some for injury purposes.
Here is a look at some players worth spending a waiver or two on this week.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Brandon Saine, RB, Packers
What we saw from Brandon Saine last week against the Giants was similar to what we saw from James Starks late last year.
Ironically, it was Starks who went down with injury on this occasion and will have a lot of progress to make if he is to play this week.
Thus, Saine is a great option for the rest of the season. He's a very reliable target out of the backfield (according to Fox's Joe Buck and Troy Aikman, Aaron Rodgers said that Saine might have the best hands on the team) and will continue to be used regardless of who is healthy.
The Packers will always throw the football and the defense isn't going to get much better, which means they'll have to continue to score points as well.
This week, they'll host the Raiders and he should have success both on the ground and in the air.
Marion Barber, RB, Bears
This is simple. He's experienced and shown the ability throughout his career to make plays out of the backfield. Barber will be leaned upon heavily what with Caleb Hanie playing quarterback and the Bears being on the road this week against the streaking Denver Broncos.
The best way to keep Tim Tebow from doing what he does is to dominate the line of scrimmage. That will include winning at the point of attack on offense as well and controlling the game as best as possible.
Demaryius Thomas, WR, Broncos
Last week, I wrote that when Tebow was going to make plays through the air that it would be to Eric Decker. It appears, however, that Thomas took offense to that and woke up once again.
Thomas is a streaky player and doesn't play with consistency, but as he continues to develop as a player—and as Tebow develops alongside him—he'll become a more legitimate threat.
Teams will continue to try to take away the Broncos' dominant run game. Thomas, down the stretch, could become a factor quickly.
