Wisconsin vs. Michigan State Football: Which Bowl Game Will Loser Get?
Michigan State and Wisconsin are set for a rematch of one of the best college football games of the 2011 season, as the two will meet in Indianapolis for the first-ever Big Ten Championship Game on Saturday night.
The Badgers still remember that improbable last-second Hail Mary pass that dashed their national championship dreams back on Oct. 22, and you can bet that they’ll be looking to avenge that loss, and in the process earn themselves a trip back to Pasadena.
These are two of the best two-loss teams in the country, and both have the balance on both sides of the ball to give Oregon a great game out in the Rose Bowl.

Report: 24-Team CFP Gaining Steam
Wisconsin has one of the most powerful offenses in the country, averaging 45 points and 477 yards per game, and the backfield combo of QB Russell Wilson and RB Montee Ball is one of the most dangerous offensive duos in college football.
Michigan State has plenty of talent of their own on both offense and defense, with guys like DT Jerel Worthy, QB Kirk Cousins, RB Edwin Baker, CB Johnny Adams and WR B.J. Cunningham.
This truly has the potential to be the best conference championship game of the weekend, but the reality is, the loser will probably get shut out of a BCS bowl.
No. 16 Michigan, which finished the season 10-2, will likely be the second Big Ten team taken if the Wolverines can make it into the Top 14 in next week’s BCS standings.
That means the Big Ten runner-up will likely be headed to one of the conference’s secondary bowl games.
The Outback Bowl and Capital One Bowl are the next two on the ladder, and the championship game loser is likely to end up in either one of these games.
The Outback Bowl is played in Tampa against an SEC team, likely either Georgia or South Carolina this year.
The Capital One Bowl is played in Orlando, also against an SEC team, which again will likely be either Georgia or South Carolina.
So as it looks now, the loser of the Big Ten Championship Game should expect to go to Florida for a battle with an SEC East team.
We’ll figure out the details on Sunday.
