Week 13 Fantasy Football Projections: Roy Helu and More 1-Week Wonders to Avoid
One good fantasy week does not mean that another is going to come the next. Every one of these players had a big performance in Week 12, but Week 13 doesn't look anywhere near as good.
In a spot role, these guys are fine. But the spots they're all in this week aren't ones where they can be banked on to perform.

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Despite his impressive performance against the Seahawks, Helu is nothing more than a spot starter. Even at a position like running back, Helu's number have just been good enough week in and week out to justify a starting spot.
Come to think of, nobody on the Redskins has done well enough to justify that spot on your team.
The Jets defense is still one of the better units in the game. This matchup just doesn't look very intriguing for me.
Similar logic applies here, although this is not because Brown's facing a particularly daunting run defense. While they are improving, the Patriots defense isn't that good. Their offense is spectacular.
What that does for Brown is simple. It takes the run away from him. If your team is down big early, you're not going to get a lot of carries. That's the dilemma that Brown and the Colts are facing.
On top of all of that, Brown has had a hard time with consistency. When you factor that in with the fact that they are heavy underdogs against a team capable of scoring about 50 points, Brown's not a good play. He'll need a long run to pay off, and I don't like that bet.
Lance Moore
Unlike Helu and Brown, the matchup isn't bad. The problem with the Saints is that they have so many weapons that it's easy to get lost in the shuffle.
Moore has had a hard time getting consistent targets all season. Every now and then, he does get a nice game, but they are few and far between.
Darren Sproles, Jimmy Graham and Marques Colston are the top fantasy options of all of Drew Brees' targets. All others get lost in the shuffle far too easily.
