Why Tim Tebow Is a Better Franchise QB Than Philip Rivers
Last night’s game between the San Diego Chargers and Denver Broncos proved two things.
Philip Rivers is overrated and Tim Tebow is underrated.
If there is one thing I look for in a quarterback more than anything else, it's consistency of effort. While I know I am going to get 100 percent out of Tebow every play, I don’t feel the same assurance from Rivers.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
There have been games in which Rivers looks like he has mentally checked out. That’s what I saw this week against the Denver Broncos.
While Rivers was rolling into a ball and giving the game away, Tim Tebow was keeping the offensive ship afloat.
With the outstanding rushing of Willis McGahee, Tebow kept the Broncos out of trouble and in contention until it was their time to win the game with a field goal in overtime.
At this point of the season, the San Diego Chargers sit in last place in the AFC West. With many of the weapons Rivers had last year back now, there should be no reason the Chargers are this bad.
In the same division, the Denver Broncos struggled to begin the season and turned the ball over to young quarterback Tim Tebow.
Since then, Tebow has gone 5-1 and put the Denver Broncos in a serious position to shock the AFC West.
Tebow has been limited to fewer than ten completions per game over the last three games, but he has ultimately run the ball more as an option quarterback.
While it is not the conventional way of playing NFL football, it has worked. Until it stops working, the Denver Broncos plan on using plenty of the run-first offense.
All that matters is winning. If I were starting a franchise today, I would take Tim Tebow as my franchise quarterback over Philip Rivers.
