Thanksgiving Day Spotlight Spells Disaster for Detroit Lion's Ndamukong Suh
Ndamukong Suh is quickly turning himself into the LeBron James of the NFL, but for all the wrong reasons.
Whereas LeBron can be considered the biggest villain to fans outside of Miami simply because he is arrogant and more talented than everybody on every other team (Clevelanders aside), Suh is making enemies everywhere around the National Football League for his violent and malicious play.
What's worse, after his latest outburst "of emotions run wild," Suh was less than apologetic. In fact, he was in denial, claiming his actions were devoid of harmful intent and actually necessary in order to keep his balance.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Let's review. In order to avoid falling over while standing up, Suh supposedly had to do the following:
1. Shove Evan Dietrich-Smith's helmet into the ground like he was trying to turn those lemons he was given into lemon juice, and
2. Curb stomp Dietrich-Smith's arm like Ed Norton in American History X.
To quote Dr. Evil, "Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight."
Dennis Rodman most certainly had a few screws lose. Sure, he gave a cameraman a swift heel kick to the groin that would make Jaden Smith proud, all because of an incidental trip. But he never denied the intent of his actions.
Suh's track record of questionable conduct is about as under the radar as the Green Bay Packers' quest for an undefeated season.
Any goodwill he may have accrued by voluntarily meeting with commissioner Roger Goodell earlier this month, evaporated in one play. Not only that, but Suh has brought himself into a whole new world of trouble.
Unfortunately for Suh, Roger Goodell and whoever else is responsible for reviewing "the stomp" and doling out punishment will not address the situation until after Week 12 is over.
What might that mean for Suh?
It means that Goodell and the homies have an extra few days to let the gravity of the play magnify and then sink in.
They have a few more days to see how every sports and social media outlet around the country reacts to what went down during the NFL's most cherished regular season game day.
They have a few more days to replay Suh's postgame denial over and over again and decide whether he needs to be given a lie detector test.
More time to see that even his own organization does not condone his behavior.
Suh has been fined and warned for his "dirty" play on multiple occasions, thus the rumor mill strongly and rightly believes that Suh will be suspended for multiple games, whether it comes within from Detroit or is handed down by the NFL is anybody's guess.
All in all, it's bad news Lions as the race to the playoffs heats up.
