Fred Jackson Injury: Loss of Jackson for the Season Would Decimate Bills
After sustaining an injury to his lower right leg on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills star running back Fred Jackson could now miss the rest of the season.
According The Buffalo News, Bills coach Chan Gailey expressed doubts about Jackson's availability down the stretch, an injury that could be crippling to a team that is already falling hard.

"Fred's not good, and I know he'll miss this one. Then we'll have to decide what happens from there.
"
That's right. The prognosis: "not good."
When asked if there was even a chance Jackson could be back this season, Gailey said, "I don't know about that. We'll have to wait and see."
Double ouch.
Jackson has undoubtedly been the Bills' superstar this season, leading them, along with Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, to a 5-2 start early on.
But Fitzpatrick has struggled lately and the Bills have dropped their last three games, including a 35-8 stinker against the Dolphins in Week 11.
After surprising virtually everybody in football to start the season, the Bills are now 5-5, on the outside looking in on the wild-card spots in the AFC.
It's not exactly going to be easy on Sunday against the Jets, either. With Fitzpatrick struggling headed into a clash against one of the toughest pass defenses in the league, the one thing the Bills did still have was Jackson's ability out of the backfield.
Now that is gone, and the Bills could see their comeback campaign vanish before their eyes.
With Jackson out, the Bills are going to have a hard time putting up a bunch of points these days, and their defense isn't good enough to hold them together.
A once-promising season already looks like it's headed down a slippery slope, and the Bills are going to be hard-pressed finding their footing.
