WWE: Is Vickie Guerrero Helping or Hurting Dolph Ziggler's Career?
Vickie Guerrero is such an effective heel in WWE that all she has to do is mutter two words and the crowd will boo her with more enthusiasm than I have ever seen.
Her status as a heel manager has risen over the years from an annoying woman who just screams during matches to being a legitimate ringside presence.
When she first started managing wrestlers a few years ago, her breakout success was with Edge. These two pretty much owned SmackDown while they were together.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Edge was already an established WWE veteran by this point so pairing Guerrero with him as a super annoying manager/valet helped to increase his animosity amongst fans.
Guerrero became truly effective when she began using her trademark "Excuse Me!" whenever the audience booed her, which only makes them boo louder.
After being split from Edge, Guerrero was GM of SmackDown for a short time before aligning herself with the young up and coming Dolph Ziggler.
Ziggler had proven in his short time with WWE that he is someone who will one day carry the company on his shoulders, whether it be as a heel or face.
Guerrero helped Dolph become a more legitimate heel and even got him to main eventing the Royal Rumble with her former associate Edge.
While he fell short that night, he would eventually find world title gold, albeit for one of the shortest reigns in history.
Ziggler was drafted to Raw shortly after losing the world title minutes after winning it, and it looked like he was going to get lost in the mix on Raw.
He went a few weeks at a time with no matches and eventually fans began to question if WWE had lost faith in the former spirit squad member.
That all changed after Ziggler won the United States championship. He and Daniel Bryan then put on three amazing matches in a row, which clearly caught the eye of WWE management.
Since then, he has become a fixture on Raw in both the tag team division with Jack Swagger and the US title division as champion.
Many have speculated that Ziggler is very close to breaking through as a true main event talent, but I have to wonder if having Guerrero as a manager is holding him back.
She is a great heel, no doubt about it, but having her be a heel with more heat than her clients is not necessarily a good thing.
Her presence can add to matches, but lately, I feel she has been more of a distraction when it comes to Ziggler. I don't think he needs her there to provide support or distractions anymore.
He is now capable of being a great solo act who will go on to great things in the WWE, but first, he has to find a way to dump the excess weight, AKA Vickie.
What do you think, is having Guerrero in his corner holding Dolph back?
