NFL Week 11 Picks: Last Minute Predictions for Every Game on the Schedule

John RozumNov 18, 2011

What a game the Jets and Broncos played on Thursday night. Twas a nail-biter and is a great lead in for what's slated to be an exciting Week 11. With that, here are score predictions for each game.

Tampa Bay at Green Bay

Is there any hope for the Buccaneers in this game? No. Green Bay is just far too explosive for Tampa to keep pace with and the Packers defense is gaining some serious confidence.

Packers 42, Buccaneers 17

Carolina at Detroit

It's a must-win game for Detroit and the Panthers are looking to play spoiler. Unfortunately for the Panthers, the Titans exploited them last week in terms of their rush defense. So even though the Lions can't run the ball too well, they will be effective enough in it to setup the passing game.

Lions 34, Panthers 16

Jacksonville at Cleveland

Looking like another defensive battle in Cleveland, only difference however, is that Jacksonville has a solid defense and a damn good ground game. RB Maurice Jones-Drew controls the game throughout while the Browns struggle to move the ball.

Jaguars 23, Browns 7

Oakland at Minnesota

It's a battle of two teams who are excellent at running the football, however, the Vikings are also decent in stopping the run. That said, Oakland gives Carson Palmer the green light against one of the league's worst pass defenses.

Raiders 27, Vikings 20

Buffalo at Miami

The Bills haven't won a road game since Kansas City in Week 1, whereas Miami has won two straight—Advantage Dolphins. Buffalo can feel their playoff hopes slipping away and the confident Dolphins ruin everything as the spoiler. Maybe the Bills will focus on defense this offseason.

Dolphins 24, Bills 14

Dallas at Washington

The Redskins have arguably the game's worst offense and the Cowboys have finally found a stud RB in rookie DeMarco Murray. Washington may have a respectable defense, but its' not good enough to win them games for as poor as the offense plays, let alone keep up with Dallas.

Cowboys 21, Redskins 6

Cincinnati at Baltimore

It's rookie QB Andy Dalton's first legit road test within the division. And the Ravens don't play nice. That being said, expect Baltimore to keep a balanced offense against a solid Cincinnati defense. The Bengals youth gets exploited but they still remain alive for the postseason.

Ravens 20, Bengals 10

Arizona at San Francisco

The question heading into this game is how long can John Skelton keep playing at a solidly high level? San Francisco has a great pass rush and run defense, so will Skelton be able to exploit their weak pass defense?

Most likely not because 49ers RB Frank Gore will run all over Arizona's defense and keep the Cardinals offense off the field, thus limiting Skelton's possessions.

49ers 31, Cardinals 13

Seattle at St. Louis

Hey, did you know that if Seattle wins out they can catch the 49ers if San Fran loses out? So it's not gonna happen, but we've seen almost as bad (Broncos in '08, and '09).

In any event, the Rams have proven they play better at home and although Seattle has won on the road, they're not consistent enough at it to warrant a divisional road win.

Rams 17, Seahawks 12

Tennessee at Atlanta

The Falcons are desperate for a win here because the Chicago Bears hold the tiebreaker over them in the NFC. The Titans are just hoping they'll win and the Texans will choke once again, but that's unlikely.

Atlanta is too explosive and has a defense that's finally coming around, whereas Tennessee is too inconsistent whether at home or on the road.

Falcons 30, Titans 20

San Diego at Chicago

Until San Diego can stop turning the ball over, they're not going to win for a while. In addition, Chicago's offense will control the game tempo and their special teams will win them the field position battle. In other words, the Bolts still haven't fixed special teams or rush defense.

Bears 24, Chargers 9

Philadelphia at NY Giants

The Eagles are in dire straits no matter how you look at their situation. And the Giants are needing a win to keep Dallas at bay. Therefore, expect New York to be careful and pound the rock to keep Philly's offense off the field.

Eagles may have a great pass defense, but proves obsolete when you can't stop the run or play consistently well on offense.

Giants 28, Eagles 17

Kansas City at New England

New England controls their own destiny in the AFC East and with the Jets losing to Denver, a loss here really has no ill affect on the Pats'. Hence, you can expect them to play care-free football and force the Chiefs into many tough situations.

Kansas City lacks a passing game and can't stop the run on defense. New England runs the ball early, but airs it out at least a few times to try and build a quick lead before halftime.

Patriots 31, Chiefs 14

Last Week: 9-7

Overall: 86-61
