NFL Power Rankings: Where Did ESPN Experts Go Wrong This Week?
The experts at ESPN.com usually do a pretty good job of power ranking the teams in the NFL every week. However, they also often make a few glaring mistakes and rank some teams too high or low compared to how they are faring on the field.
The voters, John Clayton, Ashley Fox, Paul Kuharsky, Mike Sando and James Walker, are solid football minds, but they really messed up on these three teams in Week 11.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
This is way too high for the Ravens, who have played very erratically this season.
They have losses to Tennessee, Jacksonville and Seattle this season, and they nearly blew a game to the Arizona Cardinals.
These horrifying losses don’t make up for their solid wins, and they should be lower in the rankings, especially at 6-3 with all of those losses coming to awful teams.
Chicago Bears—5
Just because they exposed an overrated Detroit Lions team does not mean the Bears are the fifth best team in football.
There are a number of teams who have simply proven they are better, and wins over Carolina, Minnesota, Tampa Bay and Philadelphia don’t really count for much in my book. The losses to Green Bay and New Orleans are much more telling.
Panthers—31
This is awfully low for a very promising team.
They are 2-7 so far on the season, the same as the Rams and Dolphins, who are both ahead of them.
They’ve also played some of the best teams, like the Green Bay Packers, very closely this season.
Sure, they only mustered three points against the Titans, but every team struggles occasionally with a rookie QB. Remember, they lost to New Orleans by just three, Chicago by five and Green Bay by seven. That isn’t very bad at all, and I predict this team will rip off a few wins in a row to end the season and build momentum for next year. They should be higher on this list and will be at the end of the season.
