England vs. Sweden: Win over Swedes Gives Three Lions Hope for Change
England defeated Sweden for the first time in 12 matches; a run that reaches back to 1968.
The win wasn't all great, though, as no England player found the back of the net. Instead, the Three Lions needed Daniel Majstorovic to score in his own goal to earn the 1-0 victory.
Nevertheless, as they say, a win is a win.

This particular triumph is something that England manager Fabio Capello can take and turn into a positive as the team prepare for the Euro 2012 draw.
The draw, according to Mirror Football, could be nasty:
"England are in the second group of seeds for the Euro 2012 finals draw, UEFA confirmed today.
Fabio Capello's men are alongside Euro 2008 runners-up Germany, 2006 world champions Italy and Russia in the second pot ... The draw for the finals will be made in Kiev on December 2.
The worst case scenario for Capello's men would be a group containing Spain, Portugal and France.
"
There is also a best case scenario:
"A more palatable group for Capello's team might be to be drawn against Poland - with England having already confirmed they will be based in Krakow - Greece and the Czechs. The pots have been decided on the countries' UEFA coefficient rankings, except for the co-hosts.
"
Sweden is in Pot 3.
England has some of best talent in the world, but has failed to achieve international success in quite some time.
Their best World Cup finish since winning in 1966 was fourth place in 1990.
Their most successful run in the European Championships is a pair of semifinal appearances in 1968 and 1996.
That is unacceptable and something Capello is out to change.
This win over Sweden is just one step forward.
England continues to work on ways to win without talismanic striker Wayne Rooney, who is banned for the first three games of the tournament.
However, the Three Lions have a number of talented to players, both youthful and experienced, who Capello should be able to count on in Rooney's stead.
All in all, for the first time in 43 years, England has defeated Sweden. It could mean absolutely nothing, or it could be the start of something new.
The English hope it is the latter.
