Oklahoma State vs. Iowa State: TV Schedule, Live Stream, Radio, Game Time & More
After a blowout victory on the road last week, the Oklahoma State Cowboys will take their talents to Ames and challenge the Iowa State Cyclones.
The Cowboys’ BCS championship game hopes look brighter each time they play. They dismantled poor Texas Tech last week, and wanted to send a message to all of their doubters. This is their final game before Bedlam against Oklahoma on December 3.
The Cyclones have a lot to play for, and with five victories they are just one away from becoming bowl eligible. The bad news is this final three-game stretch is their toughest of the season. It starts with Oklahoma State, Oklahoma next week and finally Kansas State.

Key Storyline: Can Anyone Stop Oklahoma State’s Lightening Quick Offense?
No one has been able to stop the Cowboys from scoring since Mike Gundy took over as head coach of this team. Quarterback Brandon Weeden and wide receiver Justin Blackmon are rewriting the record books with their performances, both individually and as a duo.
Iowa State’s defense allows nearly 30 points per game this season, which is not a good sign when the second-best offense in the country is coming to town. The only hope that the Cyclones have is to rig Oklahoma State’s bus so they don’t make it to the stadium.
BCS and Top 25 Implications
The story is really simple for Oklahoma State: Win and you are in. This team is just two victories away from playing for a national championship. They have been winning every way possible, squeaking out close games and dominating the opposition into submission.
This is the quintessential trap game, though, and they have to be careful not to take this Iowa State team too lightly, and jump ahead to Oklahoma in two weeks. They are strong enough on offense that it is hard to see that becoming a problem, but we said the same thing when Oklahoma played Texas Tech.
What They Are Saying
Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy has established himself as one of the best coaches in college football, but, according to Berry Tramel of the Oklahoman, that success makes him a wanted man by more established powers than the Cowboys.
That doesn't mean he is going anywhere, though.
""The big boys know the Stillwater phone exchange. And any that don't will book the next stagecoach into town in search of the newest gridiron guru.
Will the Cowboys be able to keep their man? Probably. OSU football 2011 isn't OSU football 1983. Or OSU football 2004.
This OSU football has the facilities and the resources and the pedigree to keep climbing, which really is what the Cowboys have done every year since Gundy's maiden season."

Oklahoma State Player To Watch: QB Brandon Weeden
All the talk about Andrew Luck as the Heisman trophy winner has to be a slap in the face to Weeden, who has been outstanding in leading the Cowboys offense.
Weeden has completed 73.1 percent of his passes with over 3,600 yards and 31 touchdowns so far. He is going to throw for over 4,000 yards and has an outside shot at 40 touchdown passes.
It is time to include his name in the conversation for the most prestigious trophy in college sports.
Iowa State Player To Watch: RB James White
The Cyclones do not possess a lot of talent on offense, but White is the best of the bunch and he needs to have a great game for his team to be able to steal a victory or at least remain competitive throughout.
White is the leader of the running game, which averages 183 yards per game and can control the clock. That is the key for the Cyclones in this game. They can’t score with Oklahoma State and they know it, so you have to keep them off the field.
White is the man who can control the offense, and if he has a big day, who knows what will happen.
Key Matchup: Brandon Weeden vs. Iowa State Defense
Brandon Weeden makes the Oklahoma State ship go. When he has a great game, the whole team has a great game. When he struggles, the whole team struggles.
Justin Blackmon is a beast at wide receiver, but Weeden is the one that puts him in a position to dominate.
Unless Iowa State can find a way to get constant pressure on him in this game, they are going to have a hard time containing Weeden and the Cowboys offense.
Prediction
Oklahoma State wins by a mile.
