Why Michael Vick Injury Is Last Straw in Philadelphia Nightmare
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick was just plain awful in the team's 21-17 loss to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 10.
Today, it was revealed that Vick also broke two ribs on the second play of the game game and could miss a chunk of time recovering. With the Eagles sitting at 3-6 and suffering the loss of their starting quarterback, it looks like the 2011 nightmare of a season could finally be over in Philadelphia.
The Eagles are without a doubt the most disappointing team in the NFL this season, especially considering how much preseason hype accompanied this year's team. Along with the rest of the squad, Vick has been really bad this year, completely failing to live up to the six-year, $100 million contract he signed at the end of August.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
In nine games this year, Vick has completed 181 of 300 passes (60.3 percent) for 2,193 yards, with 11 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. His quarterback rating of 79.8 ranks 20th out of the 33 passers who qualify league-wide.
Vick has also rushed for 535 yards on 65 carries, but has yet to score a touchdown and has fumbled six times, losing two.
While Vick's playing style has always left him vulnerable to injury but this year Philadelphia's offensive line hasn't helped things. Vick has suffered a concussion, hand injury and been knocked around as much as any quarterback in the league, and that was before this latest injury.
With Vick possibly set to miss time with this latest injury, the Eagles will likely rely on Vince Young under center, and they can pretty much kiss any chance to reaching the playoffs goodbye.
