NFL Power Rankings: Detroit Lions and Other First-Half Surprises Plummeting
It is time to panic in Detriot.
The Lions were just throttled by the Bears 37-13 and Matthew Stafford has a broken pinkie. At 6-3, they now have the same record as the Bengals.
The lack of a running game is starting to really effect the entire team. Averaging a mere 95.3 yards per game (27th in the NFL), it has forced the Lions offense to be so one-dimensional that Stafford dropped back a ridiculous 63 times on Sunday.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
That's absurd.
With two games against the Packers, the Chargers and road games against the Saints and Raiders still on tap, forget the division, this team isn't even going to the playoffs.
Speaking of first-half surprises falling quickly...
No. 15 Buffalo Bills
Remember when the Bills were 4-1 with a win over the Pats?
That was a long time ago.
They are now 5-4, in third place in the AFC East and looking at two more road games in a row.
QB Ryan Fitzpatrick is beginning to be exposed for the noodle arm he has, as teams dare him to throw the deep ball.
The defense lived off turnovers in the first half of the season, in fact they led the NFL. Now the turnovers aren't coming and the 25th ranked pass defense is being exposed.
I'd be shocked if the Bills are able to finish the season above .500 at this point.
No. 20 Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Bucs are an enigma.
They started off 3-1, only to lose three of their last four.
The young defense is 26th against the rush and 28th against the pass as they continue their march to the bottom of every relevant category.
Maybe this team is too young, maybe they needed more veterans besides Ronde Barber to keep this team focused.
QB Josh Freeman is regressing and WR Mike Williams has fallen off a cliff. This has been one extremely disappointing season in Tampa.
