Pacquiao vs. Marquez Undercard: Tim Bradley Will KO Joel Casamayor

Nicholas GossNov 12, 2011

Tim Bradley Jr. will knock out fellow junior welterweight boxer Joel Casamayor in tonight's centerpiece fight in the undercard before the Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez showdown.

Bradley is putting his WBO light welterweight title on the line for the first time since January, when he defeated Devon Alexander.

Bradley's speed will really help him in this fight, and against the 40-year-old Casamayor his edge in quickness will be too much to handle.

Casamayor has lost two of his last four fights, and Bradley becoming a real star of the sport. It's possible he could even fight Manny Pacquiao next year.

With many people looking to watch this fight before the main event on Saturday night, Bradley will have his chance in the spotlight to impress and prove he is a worthy candidate for a major fight against Pacquiao or Floyd Mayweather.

The chance to put himself on the short list of candidates to have a major fight as early as next spring will be all the motivation Bradley needs to dominate Casamayor on Saturday night.

Bradley is 28-0 in his career and will not lose his undefeated record Saturday.

Since winning his WBO welterweight title in 2008, Bradley has successfully defended his title in six fights the last three years.

He has experience in defending his title, and knows what it takes to beat opponents who want to knock off the champ and claim his title.

In the end, Bradley will be too strong and too quick for Casamayor, who will be powerless to stop an up-and-coming star in the sport of boxing.

Bradley will win easy on Saturday night by knockout.
