NFL Week 10 Picks: The Latest Score Predictions for Every Game

John RozumNov 11, 2011

If you watch pro football regardless of who's playing, making picks and giving predictions each week is a must. Not only does it make the season more exciting for you, but the chance of vindication also occurs.

That said, here are the score predictions of every Week 10 game.

Arizona (2-6) at Philadelphia (3-5)

The Cardinals are coming off a home win against St. Louis, where they needed rookie CB Patrick Peterson to return a punt back in OT. Philly is still alive for the postseason, being that they're in the NFC East.

Eagles win, thanks to a dynamic offense going against Arizona's 29th-ranked pass defense.

Eagles 28, Cardinals 14

Tennessee (4-4) at Carolina (2-6)

One of the few blowouts this week, Carolina has a Top 10 rush and pass offense, whereas Tennessee is dead last in rush offense.

Panthers win big as they play better at home and have the much more prominent and versatile attack.

Panthers 34, Titans 10

Houston (6-3) at Tampa Bay (4-4)

Tampa Bay is a team yet to truly find their identity, and the Texans have a dominant two-back system in running the ball. Not to mention that Houston has a Top 5 defense against the pass and run, while the Bucs' are only as high as No. 11 in pass offense.

Texans 31, Buccaneers 13

Washington (3-5) at Miami (1-7)

Although it seems surprising, it won't be. The Dolphins get a second straight win, this time at the hands of Washington, who are currently riding a a four-game losing streak.

Redskins have a sad offense and the 'Fins keep building with Matt Moore under center.

Dolphins 14, Redskins 9

Jacksonville (2-6) at Indianapolis (0-9)

Arguably the least important divisional game of the season thus far, Jacksonville make the trip to Circle City—the second of a three-game road trip.

That said, Indy gets their first win by shutting down RB Maurice Jones-Drew and forcing a rookie QB in Blaine Gabbert to beat them. It's an ugly game, but the Colts win thanks to their defensive efforts.

Colts 7, Jaguars 3

Denver (3-5) at Kansas City (4-4)

The Broncos will get the road win, as the Chiefs haven't played nearly as well at home this season and Denver has built some mo' when playing on the road. Not to mention they can match K.C. in rushing offense and Denver has an improving defense.

Broncos 16, Chiefs 13

Buffalo (5-3) at Dallas (4-4)

An important cross-conference matchup, the Dallas Cowboys have finally found their identity: Run the ball with rookie DeMarco Murray. The Bills' defense hasn't been able to stop anyone other than forcing INTs, so once the run game gets established, Buffalo will be exploited at another level.

In turn, Dallas keeps pace with the Giants and Buffalo needs some help in the AFC East.

Cowboys 27, Bills 20

New Orleans (6-3) at Atlanta (5-3)

One of the bigger divisional games this week, the Falcons—arguably playing the most consistent football in the NFC South—host the Saints, who play much worse on the road.

Therefore, Atlanta gets a solid win, thanks to a balanced offense and Drew Brees continuing to throw picks in road games (eight in the last four).

Falcons 30, Saints 20

St. Louis (1-7) at Cleveland (3-5)

If there's a road game that the Rams can win, it's against the Browns. The only problem, however, is that Cleveland has a more healthy and potential offense, going against a St. Louis team that allows over 150 rush yards per game.

Unless the Rams stop the run, they don't have a chance because Cleveland is quite capable of having success on the ground.

Browns 17, Rams 10

Pittsburgh (6-3) at Cincinnati (6-2)

The Pittsburgh-Cincinnati game is right up there with New Orleans-Atlanta, Lions-Bears and Jets-Patriots. The winner propels as a wild-card favorite, and the loser needs quite a bit of help.

The Steelers will get the win because the Bengals offense has yet to really explode in 2011. In addition, the Pittsburgh offense moves the ball just enough to slowly build a lead throughout.

Steelers 21, Bengals 7

Baltimore (6-2) at Seattle (2-6)

It may look like a close game just because Seattle is playing at home, but it's not the same home-field advantage like it was during the 2003-2007 seasons.

Baltimore wins big, thanks to a juggernaut defense going against arguably the NFL's worst offense.

Ravens 38, Seahawks 6

NY Giants (6-2) at San Francisco (7-1)

It may not be a divisional matchup, but the Giants-49ers game is the game of the week. San Fran pits a solid rush offense and defense against a Giants team who bends on defense but is methodical on offense.

But San Fran gets the win, thanks to having the more game-managed offense, as they have the better ground game.

49ers 19, Giants 14

Detroit (6-2) at Chicago (5-3)

The Chicago Bears get a NFC North win over the Detroit Lions, thanks to a running game that controls the tempo. RB Matt Forte has dominated every game this season, regardless of whether it's on the ground or receiving.

In turn, Lions' WR Calvin Johnson is double-covered all game long and his production is held in check just enough to slow down Detroit's explosive offense.

Bears 17, Lions 13

New England (5-3) at NY Jets (5-3)

Don't look now, but the Jets are playing with a ton of confidence. And at the same token, New England is lacking confidence.

Therefore, the Jets get a big divisional win, thanks to a defense that slows down Tom Brady and an offense that keeps him off the field. Until Bill Belichick's defense improves, they are New England's weakest link.

Jets 23, Patriots 21

Minnesota (2-6) at Green Bay (8-0)

Another NFC North battle, except this time the Vikings don't keep it so close. Green Bay puts on a great aerial show on the road, but they make it look even easier at home.

Plus, it's rookie QB Christian Ponder's first divisional road game. Therefore, the Packers defense feasts on his inexperience after they stack the box to stop RB Adrian Peterson.

Packers 34, Vikings 7

Last Week: 8-6

Overall: 76-55
