Chael Sonnen, Michael Bisping and the 7 Most Annoying Fighters in UFC History
Over the past several years, the sport of mixed martial arts has been transformed into a worldwide powerhouse.
And, while the fighters' performances play a crucial role in this transformation, it's certainly not the only thing.
The UFC specifically has attracted many fans across the globe on the entertainment they provide outside the Octagon.
The UFC is filled with fighters who are downright hilarious, those who keep to themselves, and of course, the annoying ones.
We've all rolled our eyes a time or two when a certain fighter gets in front of the microphone and begins to speak.
So, the following slides display the seven most annoying fighters in UFC history.
Let's take a look.
7. Josh Koscheck
1 of 7While Josh Koscheck may not be the most annoying fighter in UFC history, he certainly belongs on the list.
One of Koscheck's most annoying moments came when he called out the current UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre.
"Kos" also proved how annoying he truly is over the course of The Ultimate Fighter Seasons 1 and 12.
6. Rampage Jackson
2 of 7While Quinton "Rampage" Jackson at times can be one of the funniest guys in the UFC, he can also be one of the most annoying as well.
Over the course of his UFC career, Jackson's done a lot of talking with a lot less of backing it up.
But, one of Jackson's most annoying moments of all-time came when he dry humped a news reporter.
What was that?
5. Ken Shamrock
3 of 7While Ken Shamrock is no longer in the UFC today, his annoying-ness lives on.
The "World's Most Dangerous Man" quickly evolved into the "World's Most Annoying Fighter" when he wouldn't let a rivalry go with fellow fighter Tito Ortiz.
After being dominated by Ortiz in a previous bout, Shamrock insisted on calling out "The Huntington Beach Bad Boy" for a second showdown.
But, this is just one instance of Shamrock's annoying personality.
4. Nick Diaz
4 of 7If you're not annoyed with Nick Diaz by now, you're a pretty tolerable human being.
Diaz has been causing fans headaches from the very first day he entered the Octagon in August 2001.
The overly talked-about Diaz has done many things over the course of his career to earn this status, such as calling out some of the world's greatest fighters in Georges St-Pierre, missing mandatory press conferences, and even showing up late for an event conference call.
3. Matt Serra
5 of 7While Matt Serra has been considered a fairly annoying fighter by many over the course of his career, he earned his stripes during his stint on The Ultimate Fighter.
Serra coached against Matt Hughes on The Ultimate Fighter Season 6 and established himself as one of the most annoying fighters in the UFC today.
Whether it was his obnoxious coaching or just his constant jawing with Hughes, Serra earned the reputation as downright annoying.
2. Chael Sonnen
6 of 7It's hard to deny just how annoying Chael Sonnen truly is.
While Sonnen has always been a "speak your mind" type of guy, he came out of his shell following his defeat to Anderson Silva at UFC 117.
Sonnen's done just about everything a man can possibly do from calling out Silva on national pay-per-view television to insulting his wife.
Sonnen may very well be the most annoying fighter in UFC history.
1. Michael Bisping
7 of 7While many UFC fans across the globe feel Chael Sonnen may be the most annoying fighter in UFC history, he' has stiff competition with Michael Bisping.
Bisping is one of the most obnoxious individuals to have ever entered the Octagon in the history of mixed martial arts.
When Bisping opens his mouth, ignorance just leaks right on out.
