Week 10 Fantasy Football Rankings: Ranking the Stud WRs
WRs in fantasy football are arguably becoming more important than RBs. With so much passing going on, it seems that we can't go one week without a few WRs hitting some big numbers.
Whereas the RBs who gain over 100 yards don't get much recognition, since the let's-run-the-ball-to-win philosophy appears to be no longer relevant. To that end, WRs still deserve the props for doing their work each week, so here are the Top 3 targets of Week 10.
3. Calvin Johnson, Lions (at Bears)

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The only reason why Megatron isn't No.1 is because the Bears will be blanketing him for most of the game. Since Detroit doesn't have a ground game it will be easy to double Calvin all game. Not to mention, Chicago is playing with a lot more confidence and swag since their Week 5 meeting.
That said, Johnson will still put up some solid numbers, it just won't be up to his own standard. We have to remember for as great as a WR Calvin is, the defense is getting paid too. So, he's not going to score two TDs per game and catch seven passes for 150 yards.
Nonetheless, Johnson still outperforms most other receivers and continues to prove the fact that he is the game's best WR.
2. Roddy White, Falcons (vs Saints)
Now the rookie WR Julio Jones has finally had his breakout game, defenses will start preparing more for the youngster. In turn, that will derive much attention away from veteran WR Roddy White.
In addition, the Saints have a vulnerable pass defense and have yet to play well on the road. Sure they have two road wins over Jacksonville and Carolina, but the Falcons play better than both at home.
This is a week where White is going under the radar and with RB Michael Turner a viable threat on the ground, Atlanta will move the ball with much balance. However, White will prove to be the difference as the Falcons setup the play-action which leaves Roddy open across the middle.
Julio is now the deep threat so the field is stretched and there's no way New Orleans' LBs can cover White.
1. Steve Smith, Panthers (vs Titans)
Panthers' WR Steve Smith has rookie QB Cam Newton to thank for the revival of his career. Prior to Newton is was thought that Smith was going to be out of Carolina. Well, with much hope building for the 2012 season, Smith remaining may be the best thing for the Panthers.
And his Week 10 matchup is only more appealing. Visiting are the Tennessee Titans who rank No. 15 against the pass but also No. 24 against the rush. As for Carolina, they rank in the Top 10 on offense and will split the Titans defense all game.
With two TEs in Jeremy Shockey and Greg Olsen deterring attention away from Smith, Steve will be left in one-on-one situations. Now include Carolina's ability to run the ball and he may be open more than once when going deep. Big game for Smith and a solid win for the Panthers.
