WWE: The 20 Greatest WWE T-Shirts Ever Made

TC VreelandNov 9, 2011

Since my "20 Worst WWE T-Shirts Ever Made" article was so popular, and you guys asked for a 20 Best T-Shirts article, I wasted no time in putting this together.

WWE t-shirts are some of WWE fans' most prized possessions.  Most of the time they bring back memories of superstars and events past.  Sometimes they allow the fan to proudly support their favorite superstar, but one thing is for sure, they always look cool.

So here's a list of the 20 greatest WWE t-shirts of all time.  These shirts look cool, represent some of the biggest names in WWE history, and have stood the test of time.  I've thrown some of my favorites in here, and included some of the all time classics.

Let me know what you think of the list, and be sure to tell me when your favorite is, especially if you don't see it on the list.  You can leave your comment below or follow me on Twitter (@TheOneTC) and catch up with me there.

Thanks for reading, enjoy!

20. Edge: Rise Above

1 of 20

Edge has had many cool shirts over the years.  Many of his "Rated R" shirts had cool designs that help us remember some of the best years of his storied WWE career.  However, I think that this shirt stands above all of his others.

Featuring the popular "Rated R" logo on the back, this shirt throws something different our way by showing an arm and hand clutching a heart.  The words "Rise Above" are tattooed on the arm, symbolizing both Edge's never die attitude and his ability to come back from whatever injuries had been thrown in his way.

Though it may not be his most popular or most memorable shirt, I still think that it's his best.

19. CM Punk: Aftershock

2 of 20

This really applies to any of WWE's "Top Rope" shirts.  The "Top Rope" shirts are a line of shirts that are made with nicer materials and graphics that make one think of MMA styled shirts.

Of all of the "Top Rope" shirts, this CM Punk one is my favorite.  Featuring his fist and lightning bolt logo as the star on a stylized version of a black, red, and white American flag.

This shirt could be worn out without anyone realizing that it is a CM Punk or even a WWE shirt.  The same can be said for many other "Top Rope" shirts, which make them very popular for the older fans who may not want to proclaim their love for wrestling in public.

18. Mankind: Have a Nice Day

3 of 20

Mick Foley is one of the greatest characters in professional wrestling history.  He is a legend both in the ring and out, having put on some of the fiercest matches and supports a wide range of charities in his personal life.

His character of Mankind was one of the most unique in WWE history, and this t-shirt sums up the unique and crazy personality of Foley and Mankind.  Both cheerful, symbolized by the smiley face, and disturbing, as shown by the mask, this shirt brings back fond memories of one of WWE's greatest performers.

I for one, can't wait to see him back in WWE.

17. Christian: Peep Show

4 of 20

Though he recently returned to WWE and has since become a World Heavyweight Champion, nothing compares to Christian's first run in WWE, before he jumped ship to TNA.

What better way to recall Christian's time as a singles competitor that with his Peep Show shirt?  The Peep Show was Christian's in ring talk show, similar to Jericho's Highlight Reel or Roddy Piper's Piper's Pit.

Though the shirt may seem a bit crude to anyone who doesn't follow WWE, a true WWE fan will recognize the shirt and proudly slap his chest in response.

16. Stone Cold: Arrive, Raise Hell, Leave

5 of 20

In 2007, just before WrestleMania 23, the WWE universe was gearing up for a high profile match featuring Mr. McMahon and his choice of a superstar versus Billionaire Donald Trump and a superstar of his choice.  The two men picked Umaga and Bobby Lashley, respectively, but we were all wondering who would referee a match of this importance.

Stone Cold Steve Austin showed up on Raw wearing this shirt, informing the whole world that he would be the special guest referee for the match and laying out his intentions.

Arrive. Raise Hell. Leave.

And that's just what Stone Cold did.

15. Edge and Christian: Positively Awesome

6 of 20

I was so happy when WWE re-released this shirt, as I was never able to get one back when they were originally released.

Reeking of awesomeness, this shirt highlights one of the greatest tag teams to ever set foot in a WWE ring.  Edge and Christian were multiple time WWE Tag Team Champions and helped bring the Ladder Match into mainstream WWE programming.

Though we will never see these two in the ring together again, we can remember them through one of the coolest shirts in history.

14. The Rock: Just Bring It

7 of 20

The Rock is without a doubt one of the most iconic superstars in WWE history, and this is one of his most iconic shirts.

Featuring the Bramah Bull on the back, complete with raised eyebrow, the shirt loudly showcases The Rock's loud and confident personality.

Much better than his new "I Bring It" t-shirt, this shirt makes you seem more like a bad-ass, telling others to try their luck messing with you, rather than just proclaiming your greatness.

13. Randy Orton: Skull

8 of 20

Personally, this is one of my favorite shirts of all time, as I have worn it so many times that it now looks dull grey as opposed to black.

I think that Orton's Skull logo was passed over too quickly, as he changed to the goofy Gas Mask before switching to the Viper.  This shirt not only looks cool by representing one of the most sinister superstars of all time, but it's just a cool looking shirt in general.

I hope that if Orton ever drops the Viper gimmick, that he returns to something like this.

12. Eddie Guerrero: I'm Your Papi

9 of 20

This shirt was at the center of the most evil and personal storyline in WWE history.  Even though it wasn't based in real life, fan's couldn't get enough of when Eddie Guerrero claimed that he was the true biological father to Rey Mysterio's son Dominick.

Their feud culminated in a match with parental rights to Dominick on the line.  Though Rey Mysterio was clearly the good guy in the feud, fans couldn't get enough of the "I'm Your Papi" shirt, and many cheered for Eddie as well.

Though it is a weird way to remember the late Eddie Guerrero, he was one of the best heels in the history of the business, and this shirt only helps us remember that.

11. Chris Jericho: Jerichoholic

10 of 20

Chris Jericho is one of my favorite WWE superstars of all time, and this is without a doubt the most unique shirt that WWE ever released for him.

Looking like a bottle of whiskey or other hard liquor, it's the subtleties like the "2000 Proof" that make this shirt entertaining.

The only shirt that could give this one a run for it's money would be his other "Jerichoholic" featuring the 12 steps to recovery on the back.

10. Cactus Jack: Wanted Dead

11 of 20

Another one of Mick Foley's persona's Cactus Jack is his oldest character to date. dating back to his days in ECW and beyond, way before he ever appeared in WWE.

This shirt shows how crazy the character of Cactus Jack really was.  His sinister face is much different than the "Have a Nice Day" that you would get from Mick Foley.

9. Rowdy Roddy Piper: Hot Rod

12 of 20

"Rowdy" Roddy Piper was one of the most loudmouthed, arrogant, yet popular superstars in WWE history.  Unlike superstars of today, who seem to have a new t-shirt every few months, Piper has this one shirt that defined his character throughout his entire career.

Simple yet effective, the shirt was straight and to the point and fit perfectly with Piper's personality.

When he returns from time to time to WWE programming, you can make the safe bet that he'll be wearing this t-shirt.

8. Triple H: Game Over

13 of 20

Triple H has had some pretty cool shirts lately, featuring Latin phrases and his King of Kings skulls.  Though his King of Kings gimmick has been popular lately, there's one nickname that has stuck with him for much, much longer.

The Game, Triple H, is one of the most dominant superstars of all time.  This shirt not only proclaims Triple H's dominance, but also his popularity.

Though I haven't seen this shirt in quite some time, it is one of the most unforgettable ones The Game has ever worn.

7. Randy Orton: RKO

14 of 20

In my opinion, this is Randy Orton's best shirt, and one of the best modern day shirts out there.

Similar in design to the classic nWo shirt, Randy Orton sported this one while he was on his Legend Killer gimmick, the one that is widely considered his best gimmick of all time.

He had memorable matches against legends like The Undertaker, Hulk Hogan, and many others, and his Legend Killer legacy lives on in this shirt, which you can still find in any WWE arena toady.

6. John Cena: 8 Bit

15 of 20

John Cena has a new shirt every couple of months, and most of them have just been recycled versions of a previous shirt, only with new colors.  This one, however, was much different.

In a throwback to the old Nintendo Entertainment System days, this shirt, nicknamed the "8-bit" shirt looked like a classic NES game on the front and even had the controls for his "You Can't See Me" move on the back.

The only thing that could have made this shirt better would have been if the controls on the back had been up, down, left, right, B, A, start.

5. Hulk Hogan: Hulkamania

16 of 20

It doesn't get much more classic than the red and yellow of Hulk Hogan.  Though he has somewhat tarnished his classic Hulkamania image in recent years, he is still one of the most memorable superstars in WWE history.

This shirt would be recognized more than just about any other WWE shirt.  People who don't even follow wrestling know who Hulk Hogan is, and this shirt would appeal even to them.

4. CM Punk: Best in the World

17 of 20

Okay, so before you get on my case for putting this shirt so high on the list, let me ask you one question.

What other WWE t-shirt ever reached $500+ on eBay?

Originally only released in Chicago at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view, the shirt was in such high demand the WWE released a slightly different version that has been selling like crazy for months and months.

I have one, and the only difference is that it lacks the "Chicago 7.17.11" on the back, but that really doesn't make either version of the shirt any less cool.

3. NWo: Classic

18 of 20

Though it originated in WCW, the nWo is arguably the most successful stable in professional wrestling history.  The nWo made it cool to be a bad guy, and this shirt has resulted in countless spin-offs and other inspirations (see No. 7).

Classic black and white, three simple letters, and still one of the best t-shirts in history.

2. D-Generation X: Original

19 of 20

If it's not the nWo, it D-Generation X, the two biggest stables in wrestling history.  While the nWo made it cool to be a bad guy, DX made it cool to go against authority, act out, be vulgar, and just not give a crap.

What makes D-Generation X stand higher than nWo is the catchphrase that is written on the back of the shirt.

Everyone had one of these shirts back in the attitude era, and many new fans bought one when DX reformed only a few years ago.  Personally, I have two of them, and if you're not down with that...well, you know the rest.

1. Stone Cold: 3:16

20 of 20

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin was the baddest bad guy, and the baddest good guy in the history of WWE.  His memorable feuds with the McMahons, The Rock, and just about every other big name superstar in WWE are the stuff of legend.

Stemming from a saying that he pulled out of a the air, Austin 3:16 is still the inspiration of fan signs all across the world.  Take a look at any episode of Raw, and I'm sure you'll see something like "Little Jimmy 3:16" sticking up above the head of a fan.

Take an even closer look around and I'm sure you'll see many Stone Cold 3:16 shirts, which was easily the most popular, and most bad-ass shirt of all time.
