Atlanta Falcons vs. Indianapolis Colts: 3 Halftime Adjustments for Indy
Well, that was pretty ugly.
The Colts should consider themselves lucky to only be down 21-7 after that sloppy offensive performance. If they have any chance at pulling this one off, they've got to be a lot more efficient offensively, and find a way to slow down Julio Jones.
Is there any way Indy can eek out an upset victory? Nothing's impossible in the NFL, so I say yes. Here are three key adjustments they must make to do just that.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
1. No More Giveaways
You know the old NFL adage. Win the turnover battle, win the game. So far, Atlanta’s winning that battle, and will likely win the war unless Indy can force a couple more turnovers.
With no Peyton Manning, every mistake is amplified. In order for the Colts to have a shot here, Painter can’t make any more errors in the second half.
2. Keep it Simple
Painter has been very efficient on short, simple plays. It’s the play action and deep routes that have been giving him trouble. If Indy can rack up a few yards on early downs, they can keep things simple on third.
This is the only chance Painter has at sustaining drives.
3. Get Reggie Involved
It’s weird to watch a Colts game and hardly hear Reggie Wayne’s name mentioned. Unfortunately for Indy, that’s exactly what’s happening right now. There looks to be absolutely zero chemistry between Wayne and Painter.
Wayne has to be seriously frustrated right now. Until these two get on the same page, this offense is going to continue to sputter.
