CM Punk and Other WWE Stars TNA Never Should've Let Go
TNA is dripping with talent and it's only a matter of time until they consistently beat out the WWE's lower-teired programs. TNA is so loaded with talent that they passed on guys that have gone on to be stars in the WWE.
This tells me either they don't know what they're doing...or talent isn't what's holding them back. I assume it's the latter of the two. Check out some stars that have at one point in time stepped into the TNA ring.
CM Punk
Widely acclaimed for his battles in Ring of Honor, CM Punk also made a stop to TNA before he landed in the WWE. Punk was brought to TNA in 2003-2004 and was a part of Raven's stable. TNA later released Punk after attempting to turn him heel, stating his tag team partner Julio Dinero couldn't get over as a heel.
Kizarny
Also under the tutiledge of Jame Mitchell, Kizarny (Sinn) made his way to TNA in 2003. Kizarny also feuded with Raven throughout 2004. Kizarny also made appearances in 2005 before signing with the WWE.
Jeff Hardy
Stopping in for 2004-2006, Jeff Hardy's stint never felt like it was going last. After losing out in multiple world title matches, Hardy eventually left the company after several no-shows.
Evan Bourne
Known as Matt Sydal, Bourne started with TNA's first three-hour PPV in 2004. Unfortunately for TNA, Bourne was never put over and was let go in 2005.
Paul London
London's stint in '03 was very brief. But at the age of 21 he battled Jerry Lynn and even took on Chris Sabin for X-Division title, only losing when CM Punk interfered.
Teddy Hart
As a member of the legendary Hart Family it's surprising that Teddy isn't able to keep himself out of trouble long enough to stay on the WWE or TNA roster. He left TNA as quick as he came, often representing Team Canada throughout 2003-2004. Rumored to be release after a scuffle with CM Punk in a restaurant parking lot.
