Sam Bradford Injury: Updates on Rams Star's Week 9 Status, Fantasy Value
The St. Louis Rams pulled off the upset of the week (and possibly the year) when they defeated the Super Bowl-contending New Orleans Saints 31-21.
While the win was amazing for the franchise, it was made even more amazing by the fact that franchise quarterback Sam Bradford was sidelined by a high ankle sprain and the team was being led by A.J. Feeley.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The St. Louis Rams will take on the Kevin Kolb-less Arizona Cardinals Sunday afternoon, and they will have their injured QB Sam Bradford back for the battle.
The Rams will play it very conservative with the treatment of Bradford and his injury, but you can still expect the young quarterback to be throwing it to his new toy Brandon Lloyd.

The St. Louis Rams have a great opportunity to spread their wings against a mediocre Arizona Cardinals team, and they will have quarterback Sam Bradford back for this matchup.
Sam Bradford is a bit of a risk because of his injury issues, but with a new target like Brandon Lloyd, expect some big points.

There is still no clear indication as to what Sam Bradford's status for this week against the Arizona Cardinals.
He did, however, miss practice again today:
A.J. Feely worked with the first team again today and the Rams want to "ease" Bradford back into football activities.
Feely was under center for the Rams' first win of the season last week and don't be shocked if Bradford is held out again should they feel and bit uncomfortable with putting him back on the field.

Bradford's status hasn't changed much since yesterday, but St. Louis Rams sideline reporter Tony Softli did offer some additional insight with regards to what Bradford practicing on Wednesday would mean for his Week 9 status.
Provided Bradford gets onto the practice field soon, it sounds as if he has a good chance of playing on Sunday. Against the Arizona Cardinals' soft pass defense, he could possibly make for a sneaky fantasy play as well.
UPDATE: Monday, Oct. 31 at 3:59 p.m. EDT by Donald Wood
The St. Louis Rams shocked the NFL world by beating the New Orleans Saints in Week 8, and the team gets exciting news about their star quarterback Sam Bradford.
With the reemergence of Steven Jackson as a premiere running back and a weapon like Brandon Lloyd, Sam Bradford will start to turn into the player you draft as a sleeper earlier this season.
UPDATE: Friday, No. 2 at 1:55 p.m. EDT
The Rams are reporting that Bradford is now listed as day-to-day.
This is encouraging news for the Rams, although they should still be very cautious with the franchise quarterback.
Sports blogger Matt Sebek reported on Twitter about the pure support Bradford has from St. Louis and the locals:
This was the second straight game Bradford missed since hurting his ankle against the Green Bay Packers, but the team has been led by Steven Jackson verbally over the last two weeks.
There is no doubt the Rams want their expensive star quarterback back in the lineup ASAP, but they won’t be willing to do any serious damage so they will not rush him back.
With the team winning without him, the rush to get him back in the lineup is at a minimum and St. Louis’ placement at the bottom of the standings make things less desperate.
Sam Bradford is the future of the St. Louis Rams team, and all the people who were calling for the Rams to go after Andrew Luck with the No. 1 pick don’t understand the franchise’s dedication to Bradford.

The Rams are reporting that Bradford is listed as day-to-day.
That's positive news. Still, Bradford is not a good fantasy play. The Rams need to be very cautious with their franchise quarterback.
