The latest example is the “Tebowing” craze.
As an ode to Tebow’s reaction after scoring a touchdown, people around the country are dropping to one knee and pretending to pray.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The website tebowing.com went from having about 730 hits a day to almost 390,000 in the span of just a few days.
The creator of the website, Jared Kleinstein, a New York transplant from Denver, has gotten pictures of Tebowing in virtually every conceivable location according to the Associated Press:
There are fans striking the Tebow prayer pose next to statues, in bowling alleys, on boats and while waiting in line for tacos.
There are kids getting ready for ballet performing the pose, an airline pilot just before takeoff and a construction worker on a rooftop. Recently, Kleinstein even received a photo of a solider in Afghanistan emulating Tebow's pose.
Even Tebow’s teammates are getting in on the action. Linebacker Von Miller has tweeted multiple photos posing like his teammate. Miller looks at it as a way to support his incredibly famous quarterback:
Tim Tebow's a celebrity and I'm on Team Tebow. I'm one of his biggest supporters and want to see him do it all.
That's the way he prays. So what better way to capture that than to have a 'Tebowing' thing like that?
Steven Tulloch of the Detroit Lions sacked Tebow on Sunday and even decided to strike the pose.
The legend continues to grow and it’s just another example of how polarizing the guy is. One way or another you have an opinion on Tebow. The guy is 23 years old and already has a book, a controversial television commercial and the sort of cult following that is mind-blowing to witness. His jersey was the top selling in the NFL before even taking a snap.
Listen to the local sports talk radio out in Denver; it’s all Tebow all the time. Every caller has a strong take one way or another and it has made a two win team one of the hottest topics in the NFL.
As an employee of 104.3 The Fan in Denver, I can tell you that the callers trying to get on air can sometimes be so passionate about the topic that I have to tell them to cool down and give us a call back.
How many other people in the country aside from the president can evoke such raw emotion?
All because of a guy with five career NFL starts and an awkward throwing motion.
I leave you with a quote from Kleinstein that sums up the sentiments of a lot of people right now:
It's addictive to be a Tebow fan.
