NFL Picks Week 8: Quick-Picks for Every Game on Sunday's Slate
Week 8 of the NFL season is upon us, and the time for laying down stellar picks for this week’s game is upon us.
With many great teams on bye and primetime matchups few and far between, it’s up to you to make this week of football even more enjoyable.
Arizona at Baltimore: The Baltimore Ravens are coming off a stunning loss against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and they will be looking to make an example of a team. Unfortunately for the Arizona Cardinals, the Baltimore Ravens offense and defense will dominate them all day.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Winner: Baltimore Ravens
Minnesota at Carolina: This matchup has implications for years to come between the Carolina Panthers rookie quarterback Cam Newton and Minnesota Vikings rookie Christian Ponder. Both men are the future of their franchises, and the future is now.
Winner: Minnesota Vikings
Jacksonville at Houston: The Houston Texans boast one of the best running attacks in the NFL with a stellar defense, but they will be in for a big test against division rival Jacksonville Jaguars. After beating down the Baltimore Ravens last week, the Jaguars look to shock another AFC contender.
Winner: Houston Texans
Miami at NY Giants: The New York Giants are predicated on their stellar passing game, but the return of Brandon Jacobs to the backfield will give the offense a more balanced attack. The Dolphins can beat a porous Giants secondary, but they won't have the time to come back with New York marching the ball all game.
Winner: New York Giants
New Orleans at St. Louis: The St. Louis Rams have little to no chance in this game, and I am not one for saying this game is a no contest, but this game is a no contest. The New Orleans Saints are too hot for the Rams to stop them in any shape or from.
Winner: New Orleans Saints
Indianapolis at Tennessee: The Tennessee Titans are a good team, but they are certainly not leaps and bounds above where Indianapolis is. People are hyping this game up to be a blowout, but I think either team is talented enough to exploit the other’s weaknesses.
Winners: Indianapolis Colts
Detroit at Denver: The Detroit Lions are coming off two straight losses where they were exposed as the big play team they had become. The Denver Broncos secondary is weak minus the aged Champ Bailey, and I think Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson go off big.
Winner: Detroit Lions
Washington at Buffalo: The Buffalo Bills signed quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick to an extension this week, and the stability he provides will be enough to will this team into the playoffs. That means the downtrodden Washington Redskins don’t stand a chance.
Winner: Buffalo Bills
Cincinnati at Seattle: The Cincinnati Bengals defense will have no problem shutting down the putrid Seattle Seahawks offense, but the biggest question is on the opposite side of the field for both. If Cincinnati’s rookie-laden offense can beat the solid Seahawks defense, they’ll win this snore-fest.
Winner: Cincinnati Bengals
Cleveland at San Francisco: While my first inclination was to say that this would be an easy win for the San Francisco 49ers, the Cleveland Browns are just good enough to give the 49ers trouble. Cleveland’s tough defense will shut down the mediocre 49ers offense, and the same can be said vice versa. This could be 9-6 final score.
Winner: San Francisco 49ers
New England at Pittsburgh: The New England Patriots are one of the best teams offensively in the NFL, and Tom Brady will pick apart a slowing Steelers defense, but things are different now. With the Patriots defense being terrible, Big Ben will be throwing just as much as Brady and against a weaker defense.
Winner: Pittsburgh Steelers
Dallas at Philadelphia: This game was the hardest of all to pick because both teams have backed themselves into a corner. The Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys came into this season with huge expectations, and the way they are playing is not acceptable to their fanbases. The key for this game is Tony Romo and which Tony shows up.
Winner: Philadelphia Eagles
