Week 8 Fantasy Football Rankings: Who Are the Worst RBs?
It can be really decimating when you start an RB who doesn't perform up to expectations. In addition, it's not very appealing when the matchup is unfavorable.
Therefore, here are three RBs (technically five) not ideal to start in Week 8.
3. Peyton Hillis/Montario Hardesty, Browns (at San Francisco)

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Both Browns' RBs are mentioned because it's for uncertain as to who's really going to get more carries, and also, how Cleveland is going to run the ball against the No. 2 ranked rush defense.
San Fran has a weak pass defense so if the Browns have any success it will be through the air. And with Hillis and Hardesty basically splitting carries, that's all you're going to get from their production.
Your best bet is to find a guy who's getting the bulk of carries by himself, as that will increase the odds of more points.
2. Ryan Torain/Roy Helu, Redskins (at Buffalo)
It's somewhat the same angle in Washington regardless of which RB you have. Tim Hightower was clearly the main man, and both Torain and Helu have had their days in the sun.
The difference with the Redskins and Browns, however, is that Washington's passing game is less established, and the Bills' defense is great at causing turnovers.
The Redskins definitely need to get a ground game working, but it's going to be using both players not just one. So, unless you want to take the chance of starting the guy who you think will get the red-zone touches, your best bet is to go with someone who's not sharing nearly as many carries.
1. DeAngelo Williams, Panthers (vs Vikings)
Carolina may rank No. 8 in rushing offense, but that's attributed mainly to Cam Newton scrambling when needed. Both RBs Jonathan Stewart and DeAngelo Williams are on pace to maybe hit 600-700 yards, but not much more.
Also, if you're going to start a Carolina RB, it should be Stewart as he's more of a receiving threat as well. Now include the Vikings dominant rush defense and Williams becomes that much less appealing.
However, they do have a weak pass defense, so Stewart isn't a bad option here if you have him.
