Everton vs Manchester United: Man U Must Bury City Debacle in Return to EPL Play
Manchester United's last Premier League contest didn't go so well. No doubt you managed to catch wind of what happened.
If not, let's recap very quick. Manchester United faithful may want to avert their eyes.
This past Sunday, the Red Devils hosted arch rival Manchester City at Old Trafford. The idea, such as it was, was to give City a good thrashing, thus announcing very clearly that the Premier League is under United control this season.

Instead, City thumped Man U 6-1. It was a merciless beating, and it upped City's lead in the table to five points.
After the match, Man U manager Sir Alex Ferguson said it best.
"It was our worst ever day. It's the worst result in my history, ever. Even as a player I don't think I ever lost 6-1. That's a challenge for me too," said Ferguson, per PremierLeague.com.
So needless to say, the Red Devils have some serious bouncing back to do when they visit Everton on Saturday. With City hosting Wolverhampton Wanderers, anything less than a victory for Man U has the potential to push it further down the table.
Thankfully for the Red Devils, the seeds of a looming disaster do not seem to be in place. Manchester United recovered from its embarrassment at the hands of City with a 3-0 victory over Aldershot Town in Carling Cup play. Many sighs of relief ensued.
Further helping United's cause is the fact that Everton is not rounding out to be anything special this year. The club currently sits at No. 13 in the Premier League table, many rungs below Manchester United. To boot, Everton has played four Premier League matches at home this season, and has emerged victorious from just one of them.
Not a bad club for United to get back on track against. After the City debacle, the Red Devils could use an easy victory with which to keep pace with City.
Make no mistake, this is a match the Red Devils should win. And in all likelihood, it's a match the Red Devils probably will win.
If they don't, Ferguson may have to amend his "worst ever day" stance.
