Fantasy Football Week 8: Santana Moss, Eric Decker and Players You Must Drop
It's time to start getting real serious about your 2011 fantasy football team, which means it's time to start considering players that you need to drop.
Whether it's a player that just isn't producing or an injury, either way, sometimes the only way to get better as a team is to cut ties and move on to your next option. Some fantasy football owners are scared to do so, but those are generally the owners that are losing.
The best owners out there have an innate instinct that allows them to cut and sign players seemingly at will, and while it might seem like they are overeating, they are really making moves integral to success.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
If you have a hard problem knowing when to cut a player, take a look at this list for a little bit of a confidence boost.
Santana Moss, WR Washington Redskins
This should be an easy drop, but if you're feeling apprehensive about letting go of Moss, you can always put him on the injured reserve. Moss broke his hand, and it looks like he's going to be out for about four weeks. Either way, he's not playing, so it's a good time to start figuring out what you want to do with him.
Eric Decker, WR Denver Broncos
Decker showed the ability to make some big plays and score touchdowns for the Broncos, so why let him go? It's simple. Quarterback Tim Tebow showed the ability to miss Decker by 20 yards on some throws. While Decker can get open, he's not going to get a lot of good balls thrown his way.
Tim Hightower, RB Washington Redskins
Hightower is out for the year with a torn ACL, so needless to say, you need to let him go.
Earnest Graham, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
This is a big loss considering Graham showed some good potential in the Buccaneers' backfield. He's been lost for the season with a torn Achilles, though.
