The Titans entered the bye week after being blown out by the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 5. They have had an extra week to prepare for the Texans, and that should play to their advantage this week.
The Texans struggled mightily in the second half against the Baltimore Ravens, and conceded a total of 19 second-half points in the loss.
Both teams have been playing well overall this season, as the Texans offense is still thriving without Andre Johnson. They are currently have the 11th-ranked pass defense and the seventh-ranked run defense, while they boast the 13th-ranked rush and pass defense.
The Titans defense has been electric for much of the season, but they struggled against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Matt Hasselbeck has the team ranked ninth in passing yards, but Chris Johnson still needs to find his form.
It's tough to pick against the home team in a divisional matchup. This was further supported by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' victory over the New Orleans Saints last week, so take the Titans with the points.
What's at Stake:
This is a huge game for both sides with first place at stake. If the Titans knock off the Texans, Houston will find themselves dropping to 3-4 overall, and a game and a half out of first place.
That's not where the Texans envisioned themselves after it was discovered that Peyton Manning would miss significant time.
After dropping two straight, the Texans cannot afford to go on a three-game losing streak. If they falter again, it could do a lot of damage to this team's confidence.

Fantasy Start 'Em Sit 'Em and Sleeper
Matt Schaub, QB (Sit 'Em)
Schaub has just three touchdowns and two interceptions during his two games without Andre Johnson.
Dont expect things to change this week as he meets the No. 12-ranked pass defense in the NFL. It is unfortunate for Schaub that he lost Johnson at this point of the season, as he desperately needs him during this rough stretch.
If you have another option, it would be best to keep Schaub on the bench this week.
Arian Foster, RB (Start 'Em)
Foster has been dynamite since returning from a hamstring injury, and that will continue this week despite the tough matchup.
In Foster's two games against the Titans, he has recorded 279 total yards. He should get plenty of carries this week, and will likely pick up a few catches out of the backfield as well. Foster will find a way to put up numbers this week, and will help lead your fantasy team to victory.
Jared Cook, TE (Sleeper)
The Texans aren't giving up a lot of points to opposing tight ends, but Cook could be worth a play in PPR leagues.
The Titans don't have many options left in the passing game since losing Kenny Britt to a torn ACL, thus Cook still has some value.
He is the second best receiving option on this team behind Nate Washington, and has the potential to be a solid sleeper option this month.
Player to Watch for Texans: Matt Schaub
If the Texans are going to be successful, they need Schaub to have a huge week. He has been relatively inconsistent so far without Johnson, and this team needs him to step up this week.
Foster has put up solid numbers the past couple weeks, but Schaub let the team down in the fourth quarter against the Oakland Raiders, and was unimpressive in the second half against the Ravens.
Player to Watch for Titans: Chris Johnson
Johnson has done nothing to this point in the season. He has topped 100 yards rushing just once his season, and looks like a shadow of CJ2K.
If he struggles again this week, there is going to be a lot of pressure on Hasselbeck to carry this offense, and that simply won't work against a Texans secondary that has been stingy this season.
Key Matchup: Titans defense vs. Arian Foster
Foster is averaging over 140 yards per game against the Titans, so Tennessee desperately needs to slow him down this week.
If they allow Foster to dominate again, the Titans will use a lot of play action to dismantle the Titans secondary, and roll to a victory.
On the Hot Seat: Gary Kubiak
With no Peyton Manning in the conference this season, the Texans have no excuse for not winning the division.
If the Texans fall again this week, they will be on a three-game slide, and Kubiak will be a game closer to losing his job. It's certainly not imminent, but at some point ownership is going to be sick of the excuses.
Prediction:
Titans 24
Texans 20
