WWE Vengeance 2011: Mark Henry's Dominance Will Continue vs. Big Show
Mark Henry’s road to the World Heavyweight Title was a long, slow process. But, now that he is on top of the mountain, he has done nothing to warrant being kicked off his perch.
That's why he will defeat Big Show at Vengeance on Sunday night.
Let’s ignore the fact that the match is going to be terrible, because there is nothing that we can do about that. All we can focus on is the story that these two men are going to try to tell.

Ever since Henry won the title at Night of Champions, ratings for Smackdown have gone up considerably. The show was averaging around a 1.8-1.9 rating before, and now it is up to 2.23 for the most recent edition last week.
The ratings are a clear sign that the fans are getting behind Henry as the monster champion who will take out anyone and everyone who gets in his way. We may not like his ability, or lack thereof, inside the ring, but something he has done over the last five months has struck a chord with us, so much so that we have to watch him every week.
Big Show, on the other hand, is not that kind of worker.
He is an entertaining personality, and has been for years, but there is nothing to really root for with him as champion. WWE is playing up the revenge angle—remember, it was Henry who knocked him out of action for three months—but that only works for so long.
Plus, taking the title from Henry right now would ruin all of the positive momentum that the company has built up with him.
Big Show is just another obstacle standing in Henry’s way. The match does not have to be a technical masterpiece as long as Henry looks strong and retains the title.
Since WWE has been pushing all the right buttons with the Henry angle for so long, there is no reason to expect that to stop at Vengeance.
Eventually, he will have to drop the title, but as long as he is drawing ratings—which is something not a lot of other people in the company can say right now—he will stay on top.
