NFL Predictions Week 6: Misery Will Continue for Colts, Dolphins and Eagles
For every heartwarming story in the NFL this season, there's been at least one team that's seen things take a turn for the worse through the first five weeks. Unfortunately for these three teams, Week 6 won't be any kinder to their winning aspirations, unless those hopes center on the "Suck For Luck" sweepstakes.
Indianapolis Colts
With every week that Peyton Manning isn't under center and every errant comment that falls out of Jim Irsay's jaw, the Colts find themselves inching ever closer to potentially drafting the star quarterback out of Stanford.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Next up, Curtis Painter will lead his hard-luck teammates into Cincinnati to face the surprising Bengals. The Colts will have a tough time moving the ball against Cincy's suffocating defense, especially without the services of Joseph Addai out of the backfield. Unless Donald Brown suddenly realizes that he doesn't have to spend the rest of his career as a first-round bust, Indy is doomed to fall to 0-6 on the season.
Miami Dolphins
Speaking of teams that can't win and won't win in Week 6, the Dolphins have the unenviable task of taking to the road to tangle with the Jets.
That would be bad enough in itself if Chad Henne were still at the helm. Instead, Miami will have to rely on former Carolina Panthers flop Matt Moore—not to be confused with the rookie pitcher for the Tampa Bay Rays—to lead an awful offense that could be without rookie running back Daniel Thomas before the game starts and wide receiver Brandon Marshall partway through.
Not that Gang Green is all that good, after dropping each of its last three games, though that certainly beats what the Fins have going at this point.
Philadelphia Eagles
Is anyone else sick of talking/hearing about the Eagles?
I certainly am, so I'll keep this brief. Washington has 15 sacks in five games, the fourth-most of any team in the NFL, thanks to an upgraded defensive line. Meanwhile, Philadelphia's offensive line has allowed Michael Vick to get beaten up like a big, green pinata on a weekly basis.
On the other end of things, the Redskins are top-10 in the NFL in rushing yards per game, behind Mike Shanahan's renowned zone blocking scheme, and should find plenty of running room against an Eagles defense that's given up five yards per carry and 140.2 rushing yards per game so far this season.
In short, don't be surprised if and when the Eagles careen to 1-5 going into their bye week.
