NFL Picks Week 5: New Orleans Saints and 3 Blowout Locks
There are some teams that should feel confident about how they will manage in Week 5. But confidence doesn't necessarily mean you will win easily.
Predicting blowouts in the NFL is tough. If you look at how some of the perceived worst teams in the league have played against the perceived best in the league, you will notice some close games that shouldn't be close, at least on paper.
Still, because of their own skills and their opponents, I like these teams' chances at winning on Sunday by comfortable margins.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
New Orleans Saints
I do think that Cam Newton will have an impressive day. He's just off to an amazing start, and the Saints defense is vulnerable to giving up a lot of yards.
But I do expect the constant Saints blitz and defensive attack to eventually get to Newton.
On the other side of the ball, the Panthers don't impress me as a team that will step up and stop Drew Brees and the Saints offense.
The Panthers have had a hard time stopping lesser offenses this year, and Drew Brees is playing incredibly good football and has no shortage of weapons.
In the end, that will be too much for the Panthers to keep it close. Still, this is a game that will be fun to watch.
New York Giants
Until the Seahawks show me that they can compete away from Seattle, I will take the team playing them in a blowout every time they are on the road.
Even on their way to a division title in 2010, we saw the Seahawks struggle to even stay close away from the Pacific Northwest.
The Giants are also a team that's looked good this year. They have fought off a rash of injuries to start the year at 3-1. That will continue for another week.
San Diego Chargers
Unfortunately, the Broncos have won a grand total of seven games since starting the 2009 season at 6-0.
Quite frankly, I can't see a way that this will go any different. San Diego's offense will just overwhelm the hapless Broncos.
Since this game is in Denver, don't expect the chants for Tim Tebow to get any quieter.
