Philadelphia Eagles vs. Buffalo Bills: Spread Info, Line and Predictions
I don't think many people would believe you if you told them that come Week 5 of the 2011 NFL season, the Buffalo Bills would be on top of the AFC East with a 3-1 record and the Philadelphia Eagles would be last in the NFC East at 1-3.
It seems somewhat topsy-turvy, but it is 100 percent the truth.
Somehow, the Buffalo Bills have come out of nowhere to shock the football world while, in the meantime, the Eagles, who were anointed as the "dream team," can't seem to buy a win.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Almost everything seems to be going right for the Bills, while almost everything seems to be going wrong for the Eagles.
Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has been one of the best in the league so far. He's put up 1,040 yards and nine touchdowns en route to the top of the division.
Eagles quarterback Michael Vick, on the other hand, has had a horrible season so far. He's been banged up and knocked out of games twice now, and he just can't seem to get into rhythm.
This game is a tale of two teams that are doing opposite of what we expected from them.
The NFL is known to be a league full of parody, but even the most bold of us didn't see this coming.
Where: Ralph Wilson Stadium, Orchard Park High, NY
When: Sunday, Oct. 9, 1 p.m EST
Watch: Fox, DirecTV 709, NFL RedZone
Spread: Philadelphia Eagles -3
This would be a pretty safe bet, except for the fact that I don't think the Eagles are going to be able to cover.
Over/Under: 50
The over on this is a pretty safe bet. The Bills have put up a ton of points, and the Eagles can be extremely explosive.

Key Injuries:
Philadelphia did not practice 10/6: Defensive end Trent Cole (calf), tackle Jason Peters (hamstring).
Buffalo did not practice 10/6: Tackle Demetrius Bell (shoulder), defensive tackle Torrell Troup (back), linebacker Chris White (hamstring), cornerback Aaron Williams (chest).
Fantasy Big Plays:
Fred Jackson, RB Bills: Jackson is a must-play this season, but especially this game. The Eagles have a horrible time stopping the run, which leads me to believe that Jackson is going to have a huge game.
Michael Vick, QB, Eagles: You may want to consider sitting Michael Vick as crazy as that sounds. He's been more of a liability this season than the explosive fantasy option we were expecting. The home crowd and defense are going to be after him all afternoon. He's a smart sit, especially if you have a good backup.
Ryan Fitzpatrick, QB, Bills: Nobody believed that Fitzpatrick or the Bills could do anything this year, but all they are doing is proving their doubters wrong. I expect Fitzpatrick to have a good bounce-back game.
Key to Eagles Win:
The Eagles need to tackle on defense. They have been horrible at stopping the run, and it's all coming back to tackling for them. Fred Jackson is now one of the best backs in the league, and the Eagles are in danger of getting ran over.
Keys to Bills Win:
Feed the rock to Fred Jackson and you'll win this game if you're the Buffalo Bills. He's gotten them this far, and I expect him to be a huge factor at home. The Bills need to control the tempo and keep the Eagles offense off the field.
Prediction:
People would have thought I was crazy had I predicted this before the season, but Buffalo is clearly the better team.
Bills 34, Eagles 27
