Premier League: Worst 11 of the Week
With man of the match awards and the EA SPORTS Index, we know who the best players during Matchday 7 were, but do we know who were the worst?
I'm talking about the players who were anonymous, who showed no determination, who were incompetent, who let down their teammates and whose antics became news.
Here is the Premier League Worst 11 of the week.
Goalkeeper: Ádám Bogdán
1 of 11Performance grade: F
With competency doubts surrounding long serving Bolton Wanderers number one Jussi Jääskeläinen, an injury to the Finn gave 24-year-old goalkeeper Ádám Bogdán a chance to give manager Owen Coyle a reason to bench Jääskeläinen permanently.
Boy oh boy did Bogdán pass up his chance.
27 minutes into the game, he was directly at fault for conceding two of the four goals.
Manager Coyle put a spin on Bogdán's performance,
"“There’s no getting away from it, it’s a horrible day for him and for the whole football club but sometimes that can be the real making of a man and hopefully it is,” Coyle said.

Defender: Grétar Steinsson
2 of 11Performance grade: D
Last week it was Arsenal. This week it was Chelsea.
Grétar Steinsson's defensive ability, or lack thereof, has been ruthlessly exploited by both London sides.
The visual analysis depicts Steinsson failing to mark Daniel Sturridge and as the former Bolton Wanderers forward wheeled away in celebration, the Icelander remonstrated with his teammates as if to say "who didn't mark him?"
Steinsson—you didn't mark him.
He didn't look confident in defence and if not for most of Chelsea's play going down the opposing flank, Steinsson would have been found wanting like he was against Arsenal.
Defender: Paul Robinson
3 of 11Performance grade: F
Paul Robinson is a liability everytime he plays for Bolton Wanderers.
His lack of pace is constantly on show week in and week out, as he is consistently caught out of position.
The visual analysis depicts how much ground Daniel Sturridge has on Robinson. If Sturridge was right footed, he'd have eons to send in a cross.
Defender: Luke Young
4 of 11Performance grade: F
Luke Young was seemingly behind the 8-ball from the get go. With Andy Johnson behind him, he switched off and Johnson who was proactive, scored from the rebound.
Young then was caught napping again when Johnson scored by getting to the ball first.
Defender: Bradley Orr
5 of 11Performance grade: D
It's easy to shift the blame on the centre back pairing of Anton Ferdinand and Fitz Hall, but where were the full backs?
Luke Young was in la la land and Bradley Orr was dragged all over the place.
To be fair to Orr, it was his first game of the season, but he needs to shape up.
Defender: Carl Jenkinson
6 of 11Performance grade: F
Whoever suggested Arsenal to sign Carl Jenkinson should be fired.
Surely it must have been a red flag when he decided to play for Finland, presumably because he wasn't getting any international youth games for England.
It's not the first time Jenkinson has looked out of his depth at full back and it won't be the last.
He's just not good enough.
Tottenham Hotspur should have given Gareth Bale the ball everytime, because the times they did give it to him, Bale went pass Jenkinson at least four or five times. Though the Finnish defender did tackle Bale once, even if it looked illegal.
Midfielder: Stewart Downing
7 of 11Performance grade: D
It's beginning to become a worrying occurrence with Stewart Downing not being productive on the left wing.
José Enrique was having a brilliant game raiding down Everton's right flank, so why didn't Downing join in?
It would be foolish to rule Downing out, because he is class, and hopefully for Liverpool fans, he'll begin to produce.
Midfielder: Fabian Delph
8 of 11Performance grade: D
Fabian Delph only misplaced eight passes but some of those passes were dreadful. Then there was him seemingly pulling out of challenges. Odd.
The indecision when he was through on goal with the game already won at 2-0 can be forgiven. But, it may cost Aston Villa in the future.
I understand he is a precocious talent but I'm still not convinced.
To me, he doesn't seem have enough fire in his belly or the class of a Jack Wilshere.
Midfielder: Radosav Petrović
9 of 11Performance grade: F
James Pearson at Sky Sports did go for a left field option by naming Radosav Petrović as his flop of the season.
Clearly Pearson saw something in Petrović which Blackburn Rovers didn't, which indicated the Serbian was no good.
The point of being a defensive midfielder is to distribute possession efficiently and protect the back four.
Maybe playing hoof ball to Peter Crouch or a dominate centre forward may make sense, but against Vincent Kompany? Where's the logic?
Midfielder: Aaron Ramsey
10 of 11Performance grade: D
Aaron Ramsey's nice goal saves him from getting an F.
The Welshman was giving away possession like there was no tomorrow.
Needs to be more calm on the ball and make the pass. He's class and he needs to make the most of Jack Wilshere being out.
Forward: Chicharito
11 of 11Performance grade: C
An anonymous game from Chicharito and it's not going to do his starting chances any good after Danny Welbeck scored.
Welbeck could be primed for an excellent season because he is taking nearly every chance given to him.
Chicharito needs to start performing.
