WWE Raw Recap: Return of the Attitude Era More Likely Than Ever Before
In light of the COO Triple H's disgruntled group of under-appreciated superstars walking out on him last night, one has to wonder where the rest of this angle is headed.
It's duly noted that the four monster faces of Sheamus, CM Punk, Randy Orton and John Cena were not in attendance for the proxy vote, and the absence of those four said something. They believe in Triple H as the leader, or they are just willing to suck it up and work through everything.
Not since the Nexus invasion last year has almost an entire locker room been so against what's going on in the company.

When Nexus invaded, everybody banded together to try to take out the radicals. Nobody, including referees and camera men, are safe right now, much like last year when the NXT rookies took out everything in their paths.
With all of the uncertainty that goes along with Triple H as boss, including there now being only four real stars to carry the show (there are others like Kelly Kelly and Eve, but the rest are basically saved for Superstars anyway), where is all the talent going to come from?
Now is as perfect a time as any for the WWE to bring in their top guns to make the programs sparkle again.
Enter Undertaker, Chris Jericho, Mick Foley as Raw General Manager, The Rock for his inevitable return at Survivor Series, possibly Stone Cold Steve Austin...the list can go on and on.
This time around, the WWE cannot rely solely on John Cena to take care of business as usual, because this is much bigger than him being a target.
It's a problem that's not going to go away without some help, and who better to help Hunter than rallying the troops from his hayday in the ring?
All of these guys may never have seen eye to eye, but they have mutual respect for each other. A respect that doesn't go away very easily after everything these guys have been through together.
After seeing all the chaos and anarchy going on in today's WWE landscape, all of the previously mentioned men should decide that they need to teach the young pups of today a lesson about dealing with their problems the old fashioned way: fighting for what they feel is right.
Wrestlers are not politicians, so their words can only go so far to change something. It's not like we're dealing with President Obama here. Actions will most definitely speak louder than words, and there are no better men to prove that to the people that walked out on Triple H than the real stars of the Attitude Era.
This company-wide conspiracy may reach all the way to the top in Vince McMahon, or as low as Hornswaggle. Returns of the Deadman, Jericho, Foley, Rock and Austin could very easily help to get to the bottom of the madness, because whoever is the puppet master in all of this will most certainly not want to upset the legends of the past, who are also an integral part of the present.
David Otunga's threatened lawsuit can be boiled down to a few aspects.
They feel the boss is corrupt; Austin can easily teach the ways of dealing with a boss. They no longer feel safe working there; Taker can show them the finer points of battling against the odds.
More of them want respect and airtime; Jericho to the rescue, because he's been there before. They are sick of the same guys getting chance after chance to be the main man; of course, the Rock is there to help solve that issue. There is no true leader of the organization; Mick Foley can clear things up in a hurry.
Walking out on your boss never really does anything. Soon enough, all of those who did will learn that the hard way—by having to deal with some of the greatest of all time.
Stay tuned, because this is about to get good.
