WWE Hell in a Cell 2011: Sin Cara Beats Sin Cara and What It Means
Hell in a Cell is over and the match that I thought would steal the show, Sin Cara vs. Sin Cara, did everything but. There are several reasons why they did not bring the house down.
Blue Cara defeated Black Cara in a match that featured many impressive manoeuvres but an extremely unresponsive crowd.
The first reason I believe this match failed to impress was because people were not invested in the characters, due to being confused for the last few weeks.

They left it until the last SmackDown to establish Black Cara and there wasn’t a lot of attention surrounding the announcement of the match. This lack of interest led to chants of “Boring!” throughout the match.
Another reason I believe this match flopped was because of its place on the card. Coming out second after an impressive match between Christian and Sheamus did not help them.
I think that this match should have followed the Divas; they may have interested the crowd slightly more.
However, regardless of the reception, the two Caras fought and Blue Cara was crowned the winner. What does this mean for the Mexican sensations?
It could mean that the feud is over before it has started. If the WWE takes the reaction towards the match seriously, it may just put the whole thing to bed and accept that the Sin Cara character has failed.
This would be a shame as I am looking forward to seeing these lucha-libre superstars wrestle how I know they can. The fact that they keep on putting on a bad show must have something to do with restrictions on style by the WWE.
If the feud is over then I fear we could say the same about Sin Cara.
Therefore, it could mean that Sin Cara is future endeavoured due to the botches and the inability to get used to the WWE style. He could disappear and go back down to developmental along with Black Cara.
It also means that we know now that Sin Cara is Sin Cara. The fake Sin Cara, who in this article goes by the name of Black Cara, lost his right to be called Sin Cara last night.
I believe this was a mistake as the real Sin Cara won, and it will be harder to make a feud out of that now. Black Cara may even go back down to development and again, the feud will be forgotten.
On the other hand, they could both end up fighting once again on SmackDown and at Vengeance, signifying the feud isn’t over and fighting over something different about the Sin Cara character.
On a positive note, it could mean that we see a more aggressive Black Cara, annoyed that he lost his right to be called Sin Cara. Think about it, Vengeance is the perfect name for the next PPV in terms of this storyline if it is even going to carry on.
Black Cara could seek vengeance upon Sin Cara and possibly even win at the next PPV, setting up for a climactic end to the feud and possibly even taking it into a new direction.
They could also decide to form a tag team now that the Sin Cara name is no longer in dispute. Though it is a far-fetched concept, if Black Cara can learn to forgive and forget, these two could be phenomenal and possibly even take home the tag team championships!
However, let’s face it, no-one cares what happens. This article is regarding Sin Cara’s win and what it means, but who really cares about these characters? I do, but I am in the small minority.
Had Black Cara won, I would be talking about completely different things and the article would exude a sense of excitement rather than the disappointment I am trying convey currently.
Therefore, one could argue the point that a summary of this win simply means that Sin Cara versus Black Cara is going to be yet another failed doppelganger feud, just like all the rest.
