WWE Hell in a Cell 2011: Predicting A Night Inside Satan's Structure

Kyle SchadlerOct 1, 2011

Another WWE pay-per-view already? That was quick.

With a whole two weeks of hype, tomorrow night is WWE Hell in a Cell. Scheduled for the show are five matches with the potential for a sixth. Three of those matches are for a WWE title.

To be completely honest, Hell in a Cell doesn’t interest me outside of the triple threat match, and that’s only because of the ongoing conspiracy storyline. I have very low expectations for tomorrow night, but WWE has surprised me in the past.

So here’s the card and who I think will come out on top.

Rumored: Air Boom vs. Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger

1 of 6

Shortly after Monday Night Raw, the rumor mill came up with this match.

On Raw, Dolph Ziggler went one-on-one with Zack Ryder. Thanks to some help, Ziggler gained the victory. Post-match, Ziggler and Jack Swagger started to beat down the self-proclaimed WWE Internet Champion.

Air Boom would run down for the save and chased off Vickie Guerrero’s team. Teddy Long then appeared out of nowhere and made a six-man tag match.

In that match, Mason Ryan returned as the heel's partner, but attacked them which gave the faces the win.

Last night on SmackDown, Swagger defeated Evan Bourne with help from Vickie. I suppose that could help set up the match.

If this match does indeed happen, I don’t really see why. I think it would make more sense for Vickie’s boys to want revenge against Ryan. Either way, if this makes the card it should be a good match, though a short one.

Air Boom will win, especially if it’s just a card-filler.

Winners: Air Boom

Sin Cara vs. Sin Cara

2 of 6

I still can’t believe WWE actually went through with this.

In all honesty, I couldn't care less about this match. The only reason they seem to be doing this is to keep Sin Cara relevant until Rey Mysterio is healthy enough to return sometime next year.

I got a feeling this may be a botch fest, but the original Sin Cara has definitely gotten better used to the WWE style of wrestling since his debut. This could very well steal the show.

With the evil Sin Cara finally revealing himself via a new, black outfit and mask, we’ll at least be able to tell them apart during the match. As for the winner, I think the good guy will prevail.

Winner: good Sin Cara

Sheamus vs. Christian

3 of 6

This all started at Night of Champions when Christian continued his whining ways. Sheamus would come out and kick the former World Champion in the face. They’ve been at war ever since.

When the Celtic Warrior was drafted to SmackDown, he and Christian would go head-to-head a few times, but now their rivalry is in full force.

It took an interesting turn this past Monday, as well as last night.

On Raw, Sheamus was a part of a battle royal for the Intercontinental Championship. The Irish-born superstar looked like he would win the title when Christian distracted him enough for Cody Rhodes to eliminate him and retain the title.

Last night on SmackDown, Christian once again cost Sheamus the Intercontinental Title.

That’s twice in one week that Christian cost Sheamus a title. At the same time, Christian cost himself a shot as well.

If Sheamus would have won, this match could have been for the title. That didn’t seem to go through Christian’s head at the time, but I’m sure it went through Sheamus’s.

Christian cost him a title and he’ll no doubt be pissed about it.

This will be a very physical, but good match. I’m torn on the winner, though. A part of me thinks this will end in a no contest.

In fact, that’s what I’m going to go with. I think these two will beat the hell out of each other to the point where the referee will be forced to call it.

Winner: No Contest

Kelly Kelly vs. Beth Phoenix: Divas Title

4 of 6

After Kelly Kelly won the WWE Divas Championship, Beth Phoenix started a crusade. That crusade was to show the WWE Universe that she was the real deal and women like Kelly and Eve Torres are just eye candy.

She was joined by Natalya, who was also sick and tired of the eye candy of the division getting all the attention.

The Divas of Doom got their first shot at succeeding in their goal at SummerSlam when Beth took on Kelly for the title. Kelly pulled out an upset and defeated the Glamazon.

She did the same at Night of Champions.

Kelly is proving that she’s not just a pretty face, and that she may be the real deal.

Beth now has one more chance. This match could go either way, though.

If Kelly wins, she shows that she is the real deal and not a joke that some people see her as. That would mean everything that the Divas of Doom have been saying is worthless, though. If they can’t accomplish their goal after the third try, they might as well give up.

The storyline would be a bust if they lose again anyway. That’s why I’m giving the win to the Glamazon.

Winner and New Champion: Beth Phoenix

Mark Henry vs. Randy Orton: World Heavyweight Title

5 of 6

To be honest, I would have never thought Mark Henry was going to win the title.

Never thought he had a chance in hell, but here we are today and Henry’s the defending champion.

This feud has been quite the interesting one. It’s very rare to see Randy Orton be the one with the disadvantage, and that cost him the victory at Night of Champions.

It’s been years since WWE has had a monster heel, and Henry is filling that role nicely. He has taken out everyone in his path to the title, and is still doing it as champion.

On Raw and SmackDown, Henry took out his much bigger opponent The Great Khali. If he can do that to Khali, what can he do to Orton inside Satan’s structure?

Orton does have the momentum going into the match, though. After the main event on SmackDown, Henry attacked Orton and delivered a World’s Strongest Slam. Before he could do more, Orton popped up and hit the World’s Strongest Man with an RKO.

Can Orton do that again, this time inside the cell? It’s hard to say. Taking the title off of Henry so quickly would make him look weak and make his title win seem like a fluke. I’m giving it to Mark Henry.

Winner and Still Champion: Mark Henry

John Cena vs. CM Punk vs. Alberto Del Rio: WWE Title

6 of 6

I don’t see what the big deal is with this being a triple threat match. WWE has been pushing this as the first ever triple threat match inside the cell. While that’s true, it’s not really that special.

At Armageddon 2000, we saw a six-man hell in a cell match featuring Kurt Angle, Steve Austin, Triple H, Undertaker, Rikishi and The Rock. Excuse me if I don’t find the match tomorrow night too special.

At any rate, the result of this match is what will be the most interesting.

To no surprise, John Cena regained the WWE Championship at Night of Champions. It was almost a sure thing that we’d see him defend against former champion Alberto Del Rio at the PPV. Triple H threw a monkey wrench into things and added CM Punk.

The conspiracy story line has now reentered the WWE Title picture.

This match has a ridiculous amount of possibilities. With addition to any of the three men winning, we have to factor in the ongoing power struggle between Triple H and John Laurinaitis. We also can’t forget about the possibility of Kevin Nash, The Miz and/or R-Truth showing up and interfering in some way.

Like the finish to CM Punk vs. Triple H at Night of Champions, this match’s finish could be a complete mess.

When it comes down to a winner, my gut tells me Alberto Del Rio will win the title back, thus continuing the game of hot potato for the title.

All this talk of destiny to only have him hold the title for a month? No, something bigger is going on.

Winner and New Champion: Alberto Del Rio
