Wrestling Q&A #4: Brand Exclusive PPVs, WWE Getting Better or Worse, More
What's up, ladies and gentlemen? My name is Eric Kanes and this is the fourth-ever edition of "Wrestling Q&A."
Earlier this week, I asked my Facebook friends to send in some pro wrestling questions. I then chose the best ones and answered them in the video above. Here is a transcript of the questions that I answered:
Do you think that WWE should go back to having brand-exclusive pay-per-views?

All right, I originally did not want to answer this one because the answer seemed a bit obvious but this person asked me this question not once but twice so I thought, wow, maybe there's some more to it. So I went and did a little bit of research, looked up this topic, and in the end, my answer is HELL NO!
I mean, just look at the current rosters. WWE can barely produce a compelling two-hour episode of RAW or SmackDown with their individual rosters and now you want them to put on a three,-hour pay-per-view? I mean, maybe the RAW brand would be able to pull it off once in a while but can you even imagine what a SmackDown pay-per-view would be like?
There's like five relevant guys on that roster and it's not possible to put on a pay-per-view and get people to shell out $45 with five guys. So there is my answer to that question.
Are there any wrestlers on the TNA roster that you'd like to see in WWE?
Of course there are. There are a bunch that I think would be interesting to see in WWE right now, such as AJ Styles, Kurt Angle, Rob Van Dam, Jeff Hardy, and Austin Aries.
Do I think that we will see those guys in WWE any time soon? Definitely not because either they'd have to spend ages in FCW, they'd be misused, or they can't handle the rigorous schedule.
So I'd like to see some TNA guys in WWE, but all it is is fantasy thinking because I don't think we'll actually be seeing a lot of them in WWE.
Is the WWE currently getting better or worse?
Well, that depends what you compare it to. If you compare it to 2010 or compare it to WWE around the time of Over the Limit, then sure, it's gotten better but to be fair, a group of monkeys could probably write a better show.
If you want to compare it to two months ago, between Capitol Punishment and SummerSlam, then it's getting worse by the week. I know a lot of fans, for whatever reason, are saying, "oh we were spoiled for two months by WWE so we should've just enjoyed it while it lasted" but what kind of a mentality is that?
I don't get why so many people are afraid to bash WWE because as of right now, the product sucks. The way it was between Capitol Punishment and SummerSlam shouldn't be some sort of "treat;" that's how it should always be.
Do you think that John Cena vs. CM Punk could potentially shape up to be this generation's Steve Austin vs. The Rock type of rivalry?
Well, if John Cena turned into a corporate heel, it could definitely be something to that effect but right now, what have they got to feud over? Ever since CM Punk's face turn, they've made it clear that they're pretty much on the same side.
I mean, they're constantly tag teaming together and singing songs together at house shows so as of right now, this feud is nothing like Steve Austin vs. The Rock.
