Video: Arsenal Won't Sack Manager Arsene Wenger
Here's video footage of an interview with Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis, where Gazidis says the club isn't going to sack manager Arsene Wenger.
As Gazidis says at the beginning, Arsenal has built a great reputation around the world, and Wenger is a primary reason for that.
"That wasn't Arsenal 20 years ago," says Gazidis. "That's something Arsene brought to the club."

Wenger has been under pressure lately for other reasons, though. Arsenal have started the Premier League season with three losses in five games, a run that includes a humiliating 8-2 defeat at the hands of their rivals, Manchester United.
That loss prompted Arsenal and Wenger to splash money at the transfer deadline, bringing in defenders Per Mertesacker and Andre Santos, midfielders Yossi Benayoun and Mikel Arteta and forward Ju-Young Park.
The pressure increased this past weekend when Arsenal blew two leads and scored two own goals in a 4-3 loss at Blackburn.
But despite the losing, Gazidis says Arsenal isn't the kind of club to go for a quick fix.
The club's latest match almost turned into another disaster, as Arsenal fell behind League Two Shrewsbury Town before winning 3-1 in a Carling Cup third-round tie.
Kieran Gibbs equalized for Arsenal with a powerful near-post header, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored a long-range effort to put his team in front and Benayoun sealed the points with another goal 12 minutes from time.
After the match, Wenger said this about his future:
"Whether I work here for the next 10 years or the next day here, I will give my maximum for the club. I will let other people assess the situation. I focus on doing well for this club, that is all. I am not bothered at all by all this speculation.
I am completely focused on doing well. I can understand that people are unhappy and criticise but people are very quick to go overboard. I accept critics and I don’t say it doesn’t matter. I prefer it if people say I am good but I cannot complain when we lose a game and you are criticised. When we do well, we take all the plaudits so we have to take the blame when it doesn’t go well. But we have, on both sides, to take a little bit of distance."
Combined with the comments of Gazidis, it looks like Wenger isn't going anywhere—for now.
